Fairris Allen Dunn, 65, of Tiptonville, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

He was a retired farmer, a Baptist and a former member of Tennessee Army National Guard.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Dunn of Tiptonville; two daughters, Amy Davis of Tiptonville and Amber Ripley of Alamo; three sons, Farris Allen Glover of Rives, Farris Allen McCoy of Lexington and Johnny Lee McCoy of Maury City; two sisters, Geneva Jones and Sue Hayes, both of Tiptonville; two brothers, Walker David Dunn of Tiptonville and Gene Dunn of Kenton; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Donna Fitzgerald Dunn; and a brother, Wallace Calvin Dunn.


James Blackburn, 62, of Tiptonville, died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Dyersburg Funeral Home.


Curry "Pete" Burks, 80, of Halls, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Halls Funeral Home.


Buford "Ray" Booker, 59, of Halls, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Jackson General Hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Halls Funeral Home.


Henry Thomas Jarrett, 61, of Jackson, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
