Marian Farrow, 86, of Dyersburg, died Monday, April 4, 2011 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.

She was a retired employee of Colonial Rubber Works, where she worked in the trim department, member of Second Baptist Church, she enjoyed being outside and working in the yard.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Nan Rudd and husband, Terry, of Dyersburg; two sisters, Leatha Reardon of Olive Branch, MS. and Brenda McPherson of Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX.; two brothers, Jerry McIntosh of Sebring, FL. and Sam McIntosh of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Tim Farrow and Jeff Farrow, both of Dyersburg, and Danielle Farrow; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Farrow; a son, Danny Farrow; her parents, Ewell "Tom" and Lou Crawford McIntosh; a brother, Sonny "Ewell" McIntosh; and her best friend and co-worker, Dorothy Williamson.

Pallbearers will be Billy Rudd, Bobby Hatch, Fentress Joslin, Mike Hoggard, Daniel Farrow and Howard Apple.


Martha Brasfield Gorman, 77, of Dyersburg, died Monday, April 4, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg with Bro. Sean Sullivan officiating.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

Survivors include a daughter, Belinda Murphy (Dean) of Dyersburg; a son, Larry Hubbard of Newbern; two grandchildren, Larry Don Hubbard (Crystal) of San Antonio, Texas, and Whitney Tucker of Dyersburg; and two great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Grace Hubbard and Kali Green of San Antonio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Gorman; a son, Dennis Hubbard; and a sister, Margie Keathley.

Pallbearers will be Larry Don Hubbard, Tommy Reasons, Ty Fisher, Nick Coker, Mike Price and David Brown.

Marvin Wayne Phillips, 41, of Finley, died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

He was a dispatcher for Colonial Rubber Works and an avid outdoorsman.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashlyn Fayne Phillips of Finley; his parents, Marvin E. and Mary Ann Floyd Phillips of Finley; a sister, Barbara Sinclair and husband, George, of Finley; and a nephew, Justin Hicks of Finley.

Pallbearers will be Justin Hicks, Randall Hughes, Kevin "Mustard" Patterson, Jason Lineberry, Benji Seaton, Justin Daniels, Josh Daniels and Doug Singleteary.


Madelyn Grace Adams, infant daughter of Wesley and Krista Adams of Wildersville, Tenn., died Monday at Methodist Healthcare Hospital in Lexington.

Funeral arrangements for Madelyn Grace will be announced by Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.


Buddy Lee Sanders, 50, died Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Doris Henderson, 63, of Tiptonville, died Monday, April 4, 2011 at her residence.
