Lewis "Dock" Burns, 64, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Jackson Regional Hospital.
He was a bridge foreman for Dyer County Highway Department.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Burns of Dyersburg; three daughters, Teresa Johnson and husband, Lynn, Dana Troutt Ham and husband, Michael, all of Dyersburg and Lora Buress and husband, Dicky, of Finley; a son, Jeffery Lewis Burns of Dyersburg; two sisters, Sandra Jones and husband, Richard, of Dyersburg and Peggy Davis and husband, Burless, of Finley; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Eula Anderson Burns; three brothers, Sprigg Burns, Parse Burns and Paul Burns; a sister, Barbara Smith; and a grandson, Blake Burns.
Pallbearers will be David Burns, Travis Burns, Danny Hickerson, Vick Burns, Kenneth Bryant and Gerald Burns. Honorary pallbearers will be Burless Davis and Tim Jackson.
Mickey Edward Lynn, age 64 of Franklin, TN passed away April 24, 2011.
Born in Dyersburg, TN to the late Edward Byers & Pearlie Watts Lynn.
Survived by wife, Sherry Lynn of Franklin, TN; son, Jason (Kristi) Lynn of Columbia, SC; daughters, Tracy (Ryan) Pewett of Franklin, TN and Shannon (Chad) Hankins of Franklin, TN; brothers, Bobby Lynn of Memphis, TN and Jimmy Lynn of Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Gage, Niki, Christian, Reed, Avery, Ally and Connor.

Nathan Owens, 87, passed away April 23, 2011 at Jackson General Hospital. He was born December 10, 1923 to W.R. and Mary Esther Parnell Owens.
Nathan grew up and lived in Dyer County for over 50 years later moving to Jackson in March 2000.
Mr. Owens farmed for many years in Dyer County and worked for the Illinois Central Railroad retiring in 1972. After retiring from the Railroad, he operated a private landscaping business, doing landscaping work for many businesses and homes throughout the county.
Nathan was an avid horse and riding enthusiast and a member of several riding clubs in the Dyer County area.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Nathan was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ernestine Asbridge Owens, whom passed away in 2005; his parents, Woolsey and Mary Ester Parnell Owens; four brothers, David Owens, Woolsey Randolph Owens, Jr., James Lewis Owens and Charles Leo Owens; and three sisters, Mattie Lou Espey, Lucille Stockton and Beatrice Jenkins.
He is survived by his three daughters, Charlotte Brummett (Lee) of Humboldt, Susan Barnes (Steve) and Tammy Jackson (Ronnie), all of Jackson; four granddaughters, Julie S. Dykes (Phillip) of Bells, Megan Jackson and Leslie Chilcutt (Kenneth) all of Jackson, Lori Bunch (Tom) of Huron; five great-grandchildren, Hannah Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Owen Dykes, Kenley Chilcutt and Noah Gilley; many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Edmond Owens, Andy Owens, Joel Deal, Mike George, Jeff McGuire and Craig Brisco. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Asbridge, Lee Asbridge, Keith Tomes, Charlie Gentry, Robert Ellington and Ken Lassiter.

Lou Belle "Tootsie" Whitfield, 89, of Tiptonville, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at The Heritage at Brentwood Health Center in Brentwood.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Uptown Appliance and Furniture Store, member of Tiptonville Church of Christ, member of the Eastern Star and member of Main Street Association.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Tiptonville Church of Christ with Mr. Don Reel officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ.

Marty Davis, 47, of Dyersburg, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at his residence.
