William Robert "Willie Bob" Evans, 67, of Newbern, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Sean Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include two sisters, Tommie Christine Puckett of Cottage Hills, Ill., and Jo Nelle Johnson of Newbern; and three brothers, Ronnie Joe Evans, Jerry Lee Evans and Billy E. "Speck" Evans, all of Newbern.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter C. and Annie Lee Ladd Evans; a sister, Annie Sue Murray; and three brothers, James Howard Evans, Cecil Edward Evans and Wilbern Leon "Squeekie" Evans.
Pallbearers will be Joey Murray, John Mark Johnson, Tim Murray, Brian Qualls, Tony Evans and David Ross.
James Lewis Fields, 63, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a former city employee and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hopewell Baptist Church in Friendship with the Rev. Beunnie Montgomery officiating.
The family will receive visitors today at H.H. Hudson Funeral Home.
Survivors include five daughters, Nicole Adams of Detroit, Mich., Melinda Price, Marie Johnson, Latash Fields and Jacqueline Blackwell, all of Dyersburg; a stepson, Roy Johnson of Dyersburg; two sisters, Dorothy Fields of Friendship and Arnita Battles of Milwaukee, Wis.
Mary Louise McElrath Jones, age 71, of East St. Louis, Ill., formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Ill.

Charles Wayne Lovell Sr., 63, of Jackson, formerly of Ridgely, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired Water and Oil Well Driller, a Mason, a Baptist and U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and Medal of Valor.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

Nora Thetford Lock, 98, of the Millsfield Community near Dyersburg, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was retired from Sylvania Corp. and was the oldest member of Christ United Methodist Church, formerly Bryant's Chapel Methodist Church in the Millsfield Community.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with her grandson, Kerry Owen officiating. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors on Friday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Lock; her parents, Otto and Lula Asbridge Thetford; one sister, Sue Hall; and four brothers, Hayward Thetford, J.C. Thetford, Junior Garrison and Otis Garrison.

Modine Beard, 96, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at The Highlands in Dyersburg.
