Fred Lee Ballard, 75, of Trimble, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired farmer, a Mason and member of the Mason Hall Pearl Lodge No. 200.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Pierce Cemetery in Trimble with the Rev. Perry Grills officiating.
The family will receive visitors today from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Marjorie Crews Ballard of Trimble; two daughters, Beverly Tosh and husband, John, and Mitzi Allen and husband, Robert, all of Newbern; two sisters, Mary Cloar of Hornbeak and Lady Ruth Long of Dyersburg; two brothers, Raymond Ballard of Trimble and Ray Ballard of Memphis; and two grandsons, Cody Tosh of Newbern and Josh Allen and wife, Amanda, of Newbern.
Pallbearers will be Josh Allen, Cody Tosh, Richard Wilkerson, Anthony White, Cass Ballard and Billy Lee Prescott.

Jimmy Lynn Stanford, 44, of Dyersburg, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at his residence.
He was a pattern cutter for Ermco and a member of Finley Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Stanford of Dyersburg; three daughters, Joni Ballinger and husband, Brandon, Melea Sherron all of Dyersburg and Kristen Stanford of Halls; two sons, Jamie Stanford of Dyersburg and Brandon Sherron and wife, Casey, of Ridgely; his father, Luther E. Stanford of Dyersburg; two sisters, Teresa Jackson and husband, Richie, of Dyersburg and Melissa Brooks of Finley; a brother, James "Bubba" Stanford of Finley; and a grandchild, Brody Ballinger.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia White Stanford.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Brooks, Bradley Brooks, Jared Jackson, Jamie Stanford, Brandon Ballinger, Brandon Sherron, Jimmy Childress, Randy Perry, Tommy Boatwright and Tim Palmer.
Mrs. Carl Mooney Hays of Ridgely died Saturday at Golden Living Center in Union City.
