Julia Robbins Clark, 87, of Dyersburg, TN died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Dyersburg Church of God of Prophecy,

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Pastor James Spivey officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The Clark family will receive visitors Wednesday, May 18th from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.

Survivors include 4 sisters, Lucille Stallings, Sue Anderson and Jewell Snider, all of Dyersburg, and Geneva King of Cookeville, 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dolphus Clark, her son and his wife, Donald and Linda Clark, 2 sisters, Magaline Henry and Gertrude Mustain, 1 brother Arnold Robbins and her parents Joseph and Liddie Braden Robbins.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Bernard, Charles Brasfield, Jonathan Gooch, Mark Gooch, Paul Gooch, Darnell Ingram and Jeremy Robbins. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Clark, Brad Holbrook, Levi Holbrook and Justin Robbins.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Dyersburg Church of God of Prophecy.

Mrs. Carl Mooney Hays, 92, of Ridgely, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Union City.

She was a landowner, former partner of Hays and Dial Farms, a member of the Church of Christ, former Miss Ridgely, former "Woman of the Year" for the City of Ridgely and former chairperson of the Lake County American Cancer Society.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in New Haven Cemetery with Bro. Glen Burse officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two grandsons, Alex Hays and Sam Hays of Tiptonville; a brother, Joseph Mooney of Wisconsin; two nieces, LaRue Wright of Union City and Virginia Mooney Dial Chappell of Dyersburg; four nephews, Monty Mooney of Union City, Joe Rankin of Dyersburg, Joseph Mabry Mooney of Memphis and David Mooney of Stillwater, Minn.; and a special friend, Martha Hopper and son, Jackson, of Tiptonville.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Sam Hays and Freddie Connell; a son, Carl Mee Hays; her parents, Maggie Jane Mabry Mooney and Carl Alexander Mooney; four sisters, Eleanor Mooney McWhirter, Louise Mooney Rankin, Virginia Mooney Dial and Winnie Mooney Hood; and three brothers, J.P. Mooney, Mabry Mooney and Byron Mooney.

Pallbearers will be Alex Hays, Sam Hays, Jackson Hopper, Harold England, George Dial and Monty Mooney. Honorary pallbearers will be Lillie England, Harvey and Doris Henderson, Annie Paschall, Vicki Smith, Frances Schenk, Dr. J.R. Thomas and Dr. Douglas Haynes.

Ola Annelle Moore, 69, of Dyersburg, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired production worker for Thomas Lighting, member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg, member of XYZ Club, member of Women on Mission Group, member of Senior Circle and a resident of The Bridge at Ridgely, where she was president of the Resident's Council.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Hickman officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her sister, Leslie Faye Moore of Newbern.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. "Bud" and Marie Crouch Moore.


Virginia Louise Williams, 84, of Dyersburg, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a retired factory worker for Colonial Rubber in the mold department and a Baptist.

Graveside Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her three sons, Franklin Gaskins of Germantown, Glen McCall of Dyersburg and Phillip Gaskins of Woodlawn; three sisters, Lottie Gravitt, Willie Hayes and Kathleen Hatch, all of Dyersburg; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Gaskins; and her parents, William and Lillian Davidson Ramey.


Mildred Barnett, 79, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Bobby Gene Mansfield, 81, of Kenton, died Sunday, May 15, 2011.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Providence Baptist Church. Ronk Funeral Home of Alamo is in charge of arrangements.


Elizabeth Jeannette Nelson, infant, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Enon Cemetery near Halls. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Vena Lou Powers, 76, of Dyersburg, died Monday, May 16, 2011 at her residence.
