Maggie Lynn Hoadley, of Dyersburg, infant daughter of Jessica Hoadley and Hershell Hammock died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services were held Monday at 11 a.m. in Dyersburg City Cemetery with Bro. Mac Daniels officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Lane Langley Koonce, 66, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was retired from the maintenance department with Colonial Rubber and a member of Middle City Church of Jesus Christ.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Webb officiating. Burial will be in Bell Vernon Cemetery in Friendship.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Koonce of Dyersburg; a daughter, Tammy Walter and husband, Jon, of Dyersburg; a son, Tim Koonce and wife, Shellye, of Dyersburg; five sisters, Mary Thompson and Beverly Smith, both of Dyersburg, Sandra Phillips of Alamo, Bonnie Peery of Memphis and Dorothy Steelman of Gates; and four brothers, Ronnie Koonce of Alamo, Lloyd Koonce, Ricky Koonce and Larry Koonce, all of Dyersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Frances Langley Koonce; and three brothers, Val Koonce, Eugene Koonce and Perry Koonce.

Pallbearers will be Steve North, Harry Smith Jr., Jerry Thompson Jr., Steve Carroll, Kyle Paschall Ricky Sanders, Mike Sanders and Gary Anderson.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Dyersburg Cancer Fund.


Stallings Lipford, 81, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was the Chairman Emeritus for First Citizens National Bank, where he worked for over 50 years.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery with Mr. Vince Haymon officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family received visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Hall Lipford of Dyersburg; a son, Phil Lipford and partner Marlon Taylor of Dyersburg; a brother, Charles "Sonny" Lipford of Florida; and a special grandchild, Olivia Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Lipford; and his parents, A.A. and Madelyne Stallings Lipford.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Henson, Milton Magee, Jeff Agee, Eddie Anderson, Hughes Clardy and Cotton Worley. Honorary pallbearers will be First Citizens National Bank Directors and Mr. Don Pennington.

The family request that any memorials be directed to the Dyersburg-Dyer County Humane Society.


Doris W. White Moore, 86, of Halls, died at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Halls Cemetery. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Barbara Gail Rischel, 71, of Dyersburg, died Sunday May 22, 2011 at Regional Hospital of Jackson.

Services are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Curry Funeral Home.
