Daniel Ray Gray, 41, of Friendship, TN died Friday, June 10, 2011 at his residence.

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, an avid duck hunter and Off Road Parks enthusiast.

Funeral services for Mr. Gray will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Reverend Leonard Ballinger and Bro. Tony Lawrence. Interment will follow in Concord Cemetery in Lauderdale County. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Visitation for Mr. Gray will be Wednesday. June 15th from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years Lori Gray of Friendship, 1 daughter Megan Gray of Friendship and 1 son Danny Gray and his finance' Jacklyn Gallahaire of Dyersburg, TN, his mother Sylvia Jean Gray of Halls, TN, 1 sister Bobbie Jo Milligan and husband Jeff of Newbern, and his grandmother Sylvia Burns of Halls, TN.

He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Reece and his grandfather Tommie Burns.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Moore, Ronnie Corbin, Matt Jordon, David Koonce, Shannon Street and Tony Riley. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Bottoms, Brian Lavelle and Danny Gray.

Annie Laurie Ritchie, 92, of Memphis, TN, passed away June 13, 2011 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House.

She was a charter member of Grace Point Baptist Church and a nurse with Moore, Moore and Moore for many years. Mrs. Ritchie was the wife of the late Jumell Ritchie who worked for many years with Ford Motor Company and then retired from Kellogg's.

She is survived by her two brothers, James N. Cook of Dyersburg, TN, Amory L. Cook of Bremerton, WA; three nephews, Bill F. Cook of Nashville, TN, Jim Cook of Memphis, Jere Light of Brownsville, TX; and seven nieces, Kathryn Pierce, Judy Allen of Collierville and Diane Mendenhall of Houston, TX; great nephew, Jeff Allen; and great niece, Joy Allen Craft, both of Collierville, TN.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 16 and service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 17 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home on Whitten Road. Interment will be in Forest Hill Midtown Cemetery.


Joseph Delaney Schenk, Jr., 33, of Dyersburg, died Monday, June 13, 2011 at his father's residence in Tiptonville.

He was a truck driver for TMC and a member of First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. Marita Burkeen and the Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha Curlin Schenk of Dyersburg; a son, Marshall Lane Schenk of Dyersburg; a step-daughter, Jodi Capps of Tiptonville; his mother, Rhonda Rhodes Barham and husband, David, of Cordova; his father, Joe Delaney Schenk Sr. of Tiptonville; two brothers, Jonathan Kirby Parker and Justin Kyle Parker, both of Newbern; a sister, Sybil Schenk of Dyersburg; and his grandparents, Frances Schenk of Tiptonville and Harold Lee and Joyce Rhodes of Wynnburg.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph P. Schenk.

Pallbearers will be Tony Bargery, Phillip Mittag, Andrew Swift, Jimmy Greer, Kurt Chisholm, Norman Rhodes, Robert Vaughn and John Chadwick. Honorary pallbearer will be Kenneth Rhodes.


David Junior Bryson, 67, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
