Eugene "Gene" Thomas Kuta, 57, of Tiptonville, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at his residence.
He was a machine operator for Rollcoater of Blytheville, AR.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Kuta of Tiptonville; two daughters, Brandy Kellogg of Gary, IN. and Jessica Murray of Dyersburg; three sons, Jeremy Kuta of Beeville, TX., Steven Kuta of Springville, NV. and Kevin Kuta of Indianapolis, IN.; a step-son, William Ford of Union City; two step-daughters, Angela Lones of South Fulton and Tina Blue of Dyersburg; two sisters, Norma Schmiderer of St. Francis, WI. and Christine A. Kuta of Union City; and fourteen grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Harriet Wallace Kuta.
Zelma Taylor Puckett, 75, of Obion, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at her son's residence in Dyer.
She was a retired employee of Salant & Salant and a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Obion.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. June 26 in Ebenezer Cemetery with Bro. Larry Koonce and Bro. James Combs officiating. White & Mahon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Malcolm Puckett of Obion; two sons, Earl (Nancy) Taylor of Dyer and Terry (Lynn) Taylor of Union City; a stepdaughter, Carolyn (Ed) Cook of Obion; a brother, Elmer (Joyce) Barnes of Newbern; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Johnny Taylor; and a grandson, Travis Taylor.
Pallbearers were Alan Taylor, Bret Taylor, Jeffery Barnes, Lee Taylor, Matt Cook and Kevin Austin.
