Allison Cureton Adams, 29, of Indianapolis, IN. formerly of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at her residence in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Allison, "Allie", was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, niece, cousin & friend. She was a 1997 graduate of Dyer County High School, and was presently pursuing a degree in nursing from Ivy Technical Community College in Indianapolis.
Visitation for Allison will be held Sunday, July 10, 2011, from 3:00-5:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern with graveside services to be held Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee, officiated by Bro. Kenny Chessor.
Survivors include her husband, John Adams of Indianapolis; four sons, Joshua & Samuel Doss of Trimble, Tennessee, Kaplan Autry and his adoptive parents Jamie & Marcy Autry of Memphis, TN and Aaron Adams of Indianapolis, IN; her mother & step-father Laurie and David Jones of Dyersburg, TN; her father and Step Mother Robert & Melanie Garcia of Toledo, OH; three sisters, Alicia Cureton of Dyersburg, TN, Erica Broca & Mikayla Garcia of Toledo, OH; three brothers, Joel Cureton of Norfolk, VA, Robert & Reyes Garcia of Toledo, OH; two nephews, Andrew McBride and Adam Gunnells, both of Dyersburg, TN; three uncles, Gary Bishop of Marion, IA, David Bishop of Casper, WY and Charles Bishop of Oakdale, CA; three aunts, DeAnne Bishop of Newbern, TN, Amy Bostwick of Sylvania, OH and Lisa Bishop of Newbern, TN; 10 cousins: Jason Bishop & Jennifer Nagy of Toledo, OH, Bryan Bishop of Mt. Vernon, IA, Stephen Bishop of San Francisco, CA, Patrick Armstrong of Oakdale, CA, Ellen & Riley Bostwick of Sylvania, OH, Kaylin Bishop of Martin, TN, Travis Truax and Spencer Noel of Newbern, TN.
Allison was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents; Huey & Lyda Bishop and Eliseo & Jane Garcia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be directed to the Allison Cureton Adams Memorial Fund at any Security Bank location.
