Susie Mae Curry age 62 of Dyersburg died Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at her residence.

She was an employee of First Citizens National Bank.

Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 11:00a.m. St. John #1 Missionary Baptist Church 507 N. Monroe St. Newbern, TN. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at St. John #1 Missionary Baptist Church 507 N. Monroe St. Newbern, TN. Pastor Johnny Jones Officiating. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN.

Survivors include, Daughters, Pamela Curry Sherron, Marilyn Curry, of Dyersburg, TN. Sons, James Curry Jr., Mark Curry of Dyersburg, TN. Sisters, Minnie Avery, Mary Bell Bumpus, Aqullah Muhaymin (AKA) Maggie Haskins, Dyersburg, TN. Brother, Dossie Grandberry, Dyersburg, TN. (7) Grandchildren, (3) Great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Dossie Grandberry John Dixon, Jimmy Smith, Andrew Dixon, Keith Gauldin, Mandell Arnold.

Bernice Dennis Wilber, 84, of Dyersburg, TN died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Jackson Regional Hospital in Jackson. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, The FCE Club, The Cumberland Presbyterian Choir, and The Holy Hills Bible Study Group. She participated in the Community Bible Study Group, was one of the founding members of the Silver Sneakers Exercise Club in Dyersburg. At age 83 Mrs. Bernice completed a Bible Study Course at Dyersburg Bible Institute. She received 5 medals in the Walk Across Tennessee Program, served 10 years as Dyer County Circuit Court Clerk, and for 24 years owned and operated Sunshine Day Care Center.

Services will be Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Larry Blakeburn officiating. Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Tona Ruth Dennis Roberts and husband, Ricky Roberts Sr. of Dyersburg; two sisters, Carolyn Joyce Anderson Austin and husband, Gene of Dyersburg and Juliette (Judy) Anderson Gross and husband, Roy of Leesburg, Va.; one brother, John Ezel Anderson and wife, Beatrice of Milan, Tn.; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Taylor Dennis Sr. and Ralph Wilber; one son, Charles "Butch" Dennis Jr., one sister, Georgia Laverne Smith and one brother Neely Thomas Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Danny Dedmon, Jimmy Anderson, Danny Green, Taylor Dennis, Ricky Roberts Jr. Kent Ford and Danny Fowlkes. Honorary pallbearer will be Gene Austin.

The family requests that memorial be directed to The Cumberland Presbyterian Church Choir Fund.
