Rev. Michael Dewayne Dupree age 43 of Dyersburg died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at his residence. Rev. Dupree was an employee of Excel in Dyersburg and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 at noon at New Bethel M. B. Church, 725 Carter Lane in Dyersburg. Rev. James Woods officiating. Visitations will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 11:00 a.m. New Bethel M. B. Church. Burial will be held in the New Bethel Church Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN. Survivors include his fiancée, Tina Dixon Montgomery, Dyersburg, TN. Mother, Iomgene and stepfather (Rev. Elbert) Holliman, father, Odell Dupree, Maury City, TN. Daughter, Ciera Browder, Jackson, TN. Sons, Cornell Browder, Courtey Browder, Malik Dupree and Markel Dupree, Jackson, TN. Sisters, Tonya Bays, Milwaukee, WI., Tamara Dupree, Niles, IL. Two grandchildren. W.B. "Doodle" Fair, 82, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired farmer and retired employee of Pioneer Construction Company, a member of Volunteer Baptist Church and board member of the Millsfield Fire Department.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. James Calhoun, the Rev. Billy Tucker and the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Fair of Dyersburg; three daughters, Sue Ann Dudley and husband, Don, Judy Turner and husband, Jody, and Tina Kirby and husband, Robert, all of Dyersburg; a son, Bud Fair and wife, MaryJo, of Obion; seven sisters, Mary Sue Bradley of Dyersburg, Ruby French of Troy, Joyce Stockdale of Dyersburg, Jeannie Mooney of Troy, Katherine Walker of Dyersburg, Mary Alice Wright of Dyersburg, and Virginia Shaw of Washington, D.C.; four brothers, Marvin Fair of Obion, Bobby Fair of Dyersburg, Wayne Fair of Newbern, and Denny Shaw of Waverly; eight grandchildren, Donna Mills of Collierville, Allen Dudley of Dyersburg, Sally Hunter of Dyersburg, James Fair Jr. of Tiptonville, Laura Hunt of Tiptonville, Karen Dixon of Dover, AR, Chad Kirby of Dyersburg, and Blake Kirby of Dyersburg; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry and Susan Davis Fair; his stepmother, Lota Shaw Fair; a grandson, Stephen Edward Ledbetter; and three brothers, Junior Fair, Royce Shaw and L.B. Shaw.
Pallbearers will be Allen Dudley, Richard Mills, James Fair Jr., Michael Hunt, Scott Dixon, Blake Kirby, Chad Kirby and Chad Hunter.

Opal Jones, 99, of Dyersburg, died Friday, August 5, 2011 at The Bridge at Ridgely.
She was a nursing home aide for Oakwood Manor, homemaker and a lifelong member of Fowlkes United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. John Lowrance and Mr. Larry Fowlkes officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Cindy Allen and husband, David, of Dyersburg; two great-grandchildren, Julie Thedford and husband, David, and Kelli Allen, all of Dyersburg; a stepson, Larry Fowlkes and wife, Margie, of Dyersburg; a son-in-law, Buck Porch of Dyersburg; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Jones; two daughters, June Johnson and Virginia Porch; her parents, Charley and Lena Davenport Sorrell; five sisters, Audrey Wise, Ruby Gamble, Jewell Mallard, Ladell Sorrell and Nadine Haggard; two brothers, Ewell Sorrell and Earl Sorrell; and a granddaughter, Connie Johnson Underwood.
Pallbearers will be Bob Kirk, Nathan Mallard, Ronnie Doss, Harry Smith, Herman Hunter and Tommy Eison Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Eugene Stutts.
The family requests that memorials be directed to The Gideon International or Fowlkes United Methodist Church.
Daykota Shyanne Volner, 10, of Dyersburg, TN died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at LeBonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her mother, Amanda Volner Hipps of Dyersburg; stepfather, Tim Hipps of Halls; sisters, Dentiny Danyell Scott and Rebecca Kaye Hipps both of Dyersburg; Grandparents, Evasue Gallahaire of Dyersburg, and Jimmy and Debbie Volner of Tigrett, special aunt and uncle, Gene and Carol Thurmond of Lenox; and cousins Chris Thurmond, Dustin Thurmond, and Dayla Thurmond all of Lenox.
She was preceded in death by her Great-Grandparents Jack and Frances Gallahaire and Cecil and Alline Volner.
The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
