Eugene "Snuffy" Enochs, 79, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired factory worker for Ermco and a member of Junction Church of God.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Royce McGuire officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Enochs of Dyersburg; three daughters, Vickie Lynn White and Joy Kay Smith, both of Finley and Tammy Enochs Berry of Newbern; two sons, Mackie Gene Enochs and Gregory Earl Enochs, both of Dyersburg; a sister, Margaret Wadding of Dyersburg; a brother, Robbie Enochs of Dyersburg; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elsie Rogers Enochs.
Pallbearers will be Doug Henry, Marty Permenter, Rance Permenter, Gary Permenter, Wayne Permenter and Mark Enochs. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
Sandra Joyce Houston, 67, of Germantown, died Friday, August 26, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Germantown.
She was a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines, where she worked for 15 years, member of Bellevue Baptist Church, graduate of Union University, avid Tennessee Football Fan, former office manager for a Memphis Body Shop, former teacher and a former Administrative Assistant.
Memorial graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Terrace Hill Cemetery in Troy with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her mother, Thelma Canada Houston of Dyersburg; two sisters, Mary Yoshida of Hilo, Hawaii and Donnie Crisp and husband, Bobby, of Garden Ridge, TX.; a brother, Richard Houston and wife, Pam, of Vero Beach, FL.; and her 2nd beloved cat, Tigger.
She was preceded in death by her father, Temple Houston; her brother-in-law, retired 1st SGT Kimo Yoshida; and her beloved cat of 19 years, Tiger.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Germantown Humane Society, Germantown, TN.
Gladys Marie Booker, 89, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Jazer Emmanuel Shannon, infant son of Leonard Shannon and Taryn Driver, both of Fayetteville, N.C., died Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at Capefear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bluff Cemetery in Ripley. Thompson's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Mary Helen Strayhorn, 89, of Howardwick, Texas, formerly of Friendship, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2011.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Bellevernon Cemetery. Friendship Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
