Ruby Agnes Henry, 88, of Oxford, Miss., died Tuesday, Sept. 6 2011 at her residence.
She was a homemaker, mother of eight, grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 15 and "Granny" to numerous community children.
Visitation will be at 6-8 p.m. Friday at Waller Funeral Home in Oxford, Miss.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Walls Funeral Home with Bro. Shannon Davis officiating. Burial will be in Kingdom Cemetery in Oxford, Miss.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Joyner (Johnny) of Dyersburg, Ann Beard (Gary) of Water Valley, Miss. and Carolyn Simmons (Danny) of Oxford, Miss; four sons, Randy Henry of Memphis, James Henry (Shirley) of Oakland, Ricky Henry (Lisa) and Lewis Henry (Nina), both of Oxford, Miss.; 11 grandchildren, Rebecca Joyner and Ryan Joyner, both of Dyersburg, Lori Henry of Collierville, Tina Mathis (Mike) of Memphis, Timmy Henry (Lee) of Southaven, Miss., Brad Beard (Erin), Michael Henry (Joy), Kim Caulder (Mark), Tommy Henry and Morgan Henry, all of Oxford, Miss. and Hope Beard of Vermont; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Henry; a son, Donald "Buddy" Henry; her parents, Henry and Bessie Wright; and a brother, Edward Wright.
Helen O. Holland, 81, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired employee restaurant cook and a Baptist.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Friendship Funeral Home with Bro. Royce McGuire officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at noon today at the funeral home.
Survivors include a sister, Mars. Charlie Rutherford of Dyersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Holland; and her parents, Charlie M. and Onie L. Thompson Shelby.
Pallbearers will be Percy Thompson Sr., Casey Burnett, Jackie Perry, Buddy Perry, Billy Holland and Paul Thompson.
Teresa Gail King, 50, of Obion, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Obion United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Obion United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry English officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Obion.
The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home and at noon Friday at the church.
Survivors include a son, Anthony King and fiancee', Yolanda, of Obion; two stepdaughters, Tammy Hall and Laurinda Rippy, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; six sisters, Rosemary McKinney (Larry), Betty Marbrey, Nettie Biggers, Darlene Biggers (Dewayne), and Marilyn Yates, all of Trimble and Shelby Jean Hamilton of Big Sandy; three brothers, Jerry Ring (Rita Kay) and David Ring (Angie), of Trimble and Larry Pritchard of Springville; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry F. King; her parents, Murray "Spur" and Mary Powell Ring; a sister, Patricia Richardson; a brother, Tommy Ring; and her mother-in-law, Vera Lee King.
Pallbearers will be Matthew "Bubba" Marbrey, Tim McKinney, Carlos Belonio, Clint Day, Michael Freeman and Jonathan Waller.
