Patricia Hadley, 59, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a domestic worker.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Christian Center with Bishop Wesley Arije officiating. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Tyrus Blalcok and Hunn Lee Hadley, both of Dyersburg; her mother, Mae Vaughn of Dyersburg; a sister, Earl Lynn Vaughn of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Tyon Blalock, Kiarra Hadley, Xavier Sharp and Vania Blalock; and three great-grandchildren.


Jeanette Crocker Herrmann, of Martin, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 at her residence.

She was a former teacher-educator at Georgia Southern University, Volunteer State College and Dyersburg State Community College. She was a 1956 graduate of Clarksdale High School, a 1961 graduate of and a Centenary College of Louisiana and a 1964 graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Social Work. She practiced social work for three years in Atlanta, Ga. before her teaching career and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Services were held Sept. 12 at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Cooper officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Murphy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a brother, Jim Crocker of Martin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Herrmann; her parents, Hollis Atlas Crocker and Virginia Shive Crocker; and a brother, Robert H. Crocker.


Stella Mae Roberson, 72, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011 at her residence.

She was a domestic worker.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Christian Center with Bishop Wesley Arije officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Church Cemetery in Dyersburg. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Roberson Sr.; two daughters, Vivian Roberson Ward and Zelda Roberson Wardlow, both of Dyersburg; four sons, Jerry Roberson Jr. and Frederick Roberson, both of Memphis, James Roberson of Dyersburg and Jeffrey Roberson of Nashville; five sisters, Le Nora Anderson and Johnnie Lyte, both of Dyersburg, Lucinda Swanson of South Bend, Ind., Mary Burton of Detroit, Mich. and Sarah Smith of Albuquerque, NM; a brother, Grady James Battles of Memphis; and 11 grandchildren.


Maxine Burdin, 85, of Drummonds, died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Archers Chapel Methodist Church. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
