Dr. Kenneth S. Lewis Jr., 80, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired optometrist, lifelong member of Dyersburg First United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, gardening, bird watching and his profession.
A memorial service was held at 12 noon Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Craig officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Joann Baird Lewis of Dyersburg; two daughters, Dr. Melissa Barton and husband, Steve, and Merrill Lemon and husband, Danny, all of Dyersburg; two sons, Kenneth S. "Bud" Lewis III and wife, Cody, of Bonicord and Rev. Paul Baird Lewis and wife, Helena, of Bangor, Northern Ireland; and nine grandchildren, Shelly Lemon, Alicia Lemon Teeter, Jenna Lemon, Russ Barton, Rob Barton, Erik Lewis, Amy Clare Lewis, Tansye Autry and Cassye Thompson; and three great-grandchildren, Mason Autry, Noah Autry and Sylar Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Kenneth S. Sr. and Pauline Johnson Lewis.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the organization of the donor's choice.
Rodger "Bigfoot" Luckett, 45, of Churchton, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was an equipment operator for Sims Farms.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Zion Cemetery in the Cloverdale community with the Rev. Johnny Michael and Bro. Perry Grills officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 8:30-10 a.m. Monday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Emily Evans (Sam) of Obion; a son, Cody Luckett of Dyersburg; his fiancée, Joyce Lee and Baby Luckett; his mother, Carolyn Jetton of Cloverdale; a sister, Stephanie Simpson of Newbern; a brother, Johnny Luckett Jr. of Unionville; and a grandchild, Gracie Ann Luckett.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Roland Luckett.
Pallbearers will be Keith Sims, Alan Sims, Richard Wilkerson, Kris Holden, Greg Rudd and Chucky Boane. Honorary pallbearer will be James Albright.
Otha B. Mallard, 74, of RoEllen, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired employee of Dyersburg Fabrics after 33 years and operated West Tennessee Opry for 12 years, he was an avid musician and ball player and a member of RoEllen Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Michael officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Joyce Rose Mallard of RoEllen; a daughter, Rita Fletcher and husband, Colin, of LaVergne; a son, Mike Mallard of Dyersburg; a brother, James Mallard of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Zach Fletcher and wife, Misty, of Murfreesboro, Lindsay Fletcher of LaVergne, Allye Mallard and Mitch Mallard, both of Newbern; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Marty B. Mallard; a grandson, Michael Tyler Mallard; his Parents, Allen and Elva Houston Mallard; and a brother, Billy Mallard.
Pallbearers will be Dave Parish, Richard Clark, Brian Lovell, Kyle Moore, Charles Rose and Barry Baker.

Michael "Hillbilly" Warden, 57, of Unionville, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at his residence.
He was a retired mechanic, member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, restored classic cars and trucks and owned a salvage yard.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Criswell officiating. Burial will be at Woodville Cemetery in Ripley.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his three sons, Bryan Warden and wife, Angie, of Smyrna, Robert Warden and wife, Crystal, and Jeffery Warden, all of Halls; three brothers, Mark Warden of Halls, Carl Warden and Arnold Warden, both of Newbern; three grandchildren, Allie Warden, Preston Michael Warden and Zachory Ryan Warden; his girlfriend, Sandra Boone; and her children, Sandra Boone, Lynette Seay and husband, Rives, Brenley Seay and Gracyn Seay.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Robles Warden; a son, Jason Michael Warden; and his parents, Oscar and Martha Dowdy Warden.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Rogers, Jason Ray, Jerry Freeman, Rives Seay, Derek Magness and Michael Argulio. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie "Fuzzy" Johnson, Joey Freeman and Bobby Flowers.
Andrew West, 72, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011 at Jackson Regional Hospital.
