Mrs. Hester Hilliard Cook of Dyersburg, TN died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Facility. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cook will be Friday, October 7,2011 in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Private interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Visitation for Mrs. Cook will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.

Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by one daughter, Brenda Bivens and husband Billy D. Bivens of Dyersburg; one grandchild David Lee Bivens and wife Laura of Dyersburg; two great-grandchildren, Landon Kyle Bivens and Neely Lauren Bivens of Dyersburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neely W. Cook; two sisters Flora Fry and Hester's twin, Mary Ann Vester Hunt; and one brother John Dwain Hilliard.

Pallbearers will be James Bivens, Freddie Bivens, Kenneth Webster, Lowell Tillman Jr., Jimmy Haynes, and Joe Dowling.

Nellie Hibbs, 64, of Fulton, died October 4, at her home.

Born March 24, 1947 in Dyer, Tennessee, she was a graduate of Southeastern Illinois College. She was an RN, who retired from the Weakley County

Nursing Home in Dresden.

She was a faithful and active member of the First Assembly of God in Clinton, KY, where she served as a prayer warrior, kitchen help, VBS volunteer, member of the Women's Ministry and many other areas.

Survivors include her husband Dennis Hibbs of Fulton, KY one daughter, Tina (Daren) Coats of Duncan, Oklahoma; three sons, Chris (Julieta) Inghram of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Brian (Missi) Inghram of Billings, Montana and David (Cheyanna) Hibbs of Hickory, KY; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Valerie, Courtney, Tommi, Lexie and Caden; one sister Violet Vanhooser of Newbern, TN; two brothers Rance Howell and Doug Howell, both of Dyersburg, TN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Jessie Margaret "Sis" Ennis Howell, her father, A.N. "Pete" Howell, a brother Jerry Howell and a sister Flossie Weaver.

Funeral services will be 10 am , October 7 at the First Assembly of God in Clinton, KY with Rev. Lynn Terry officiating. Burial will be in Camp Beauregard Cemetery.

Visitation will also be at the First Assembly of God from 5-8 pm on Thursday.

Hobert Eugene Wyrick Jr., 92, of Halls, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 at Applingwood Health Care in Cordova.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at South Fork Baptist Church in Halls. Halls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
