Charles Aubrey Caldwell, 88, of Newbern, died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

He was a farmer and a member of Newbern First United Methodist Church.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern with the Rev. Gus Lohrum officiating.

The family will receive visitors at 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern.

Survivors include a son, David Caldwell and wife, Diane, of Newbern; three grandchildren, Jason Caldwell and wife, Karen, and John David Caldwell and wife, Kristen, all of Newbern; and Jenny Bell and husband, Jonathan, of Dyersburg; two great-grandchildren, Cooper Caldwell and Katie Beth Caldwell, both of Newbern.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Jane Atkins Caldwell; a great-granddaughter, Molly Kate Duncan; three sisters, Lorene Johnson, Irene Flack and Odom Marie Berry; and four brothers, John Morgan Caldwell, Harold Caldwell, Wilburn Caldwell and Hurtle Caldwell

Pallbearers will be Jason Caldwell, Cooper Caldwell, John David Caldwell, Jonathan Bell, Jim Berry, R. C. Owen and Dan Smith

Ricky Lynn Hannah, 56, of Cedar Grove, died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

He was a lab technician for Tennalum of Jackson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Holland officiating.

The family will receive visitors today from 6-8,30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his companion, Elvis Umstead of Cedar Grove; his father, Lonnie Hannah of Newbern; two sisters, Donna Hinson and Amanda Cates of Newbern; and a brother, Bobby Hannah of Dyersburg.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laverne Ashley Hannah; a sister, Charlotte Wallace; and grandmother, Lula Moore.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Charlie Ralph Palmer Jr., 57, of Dyersburg, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 in Sturgis, S.D.

He was a master craftsman, blessed by the Christian Riders Association and member of Bear-Butte Flying Club.

Services will be at noon Friday at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Tom Butler officiating.

The family will receive visitors Thursday from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include wife, Susan Palmer of Dyersburg; a daughter, Carrie Palmer and fiancÚ Phillip Wanner of Rapid City, S.D.; two sons, Trice Palmer and wife, Johnette, and Joe Palmer and wife, Dana Pinckley Palmer, all of Dyersburg; a stepdaughter, Misty Elgin of Missouri; two stepsons, Scotty Elgin and Jimmy Elgin, both of Dyersburg; his father, Charlie Ralph Palmer Sr. of Dyersburg; two sisters, Debbie Palmer Campbell and husband, Glenn, of Newbern and Katie Palmer Patterson and husband, Jackie, of Dyersburg; a half sister, Alma Faye Greco of Illinois; four brothers, James Palmer and wife, Kathy, Eddie Palmer and wife, Tammy, Tim Palmer, and Steve Palmer and wife, Kathleen, all of Dyersburg; a grandchild, Shelby Lynn Palmer; and seven step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Rook Palmer.

Pallbearers will be Trice Palmer, Joe Palmer, Dennis Miller, Monte Warne, Michael Ballard and Robert Moore. Honorary pallbearer will be Travis Davison.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
