James N. Brown, age 59, of Newbern, TN, died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at his residence.
He was the owner of Total Package in Newbern and a US Army veteran.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Carmon Dennison officiating. Burial will be in Yorkville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Galloway Brown of Newbern; two daughters, Jennifer Crouch of RoEllen and Kristina Robichaud of Baxter; two sons, James Hardy of Newbern and Justin Brown of RoEllen; three brothers, Franklin Brown of Buchanan, Eddie Brown of Big Boy Junction and David Brown of Clarksville; and six grandchildren, Molliann Adams, Josh Robichaud, Meagan Hardy, Abigail Adams, Brayden Hardy and Madison Brown.
Pallbearers will be Darren Brown, Terry Brown, Ryan Brown, Jim Seratt, Benjie Seaton and Preston Seratt.

Evelyn Criswell, 96, of Dyersburg, TN died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church and retired after 30 years at J.C. Penney.
Memorial services for Mrs. Criswell will be at 11:00 pm Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Reverend Raymond Boston officiating.

She is survived by her son James Criswell and wife Patricia of Dyersburg; 2 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Raymond Criswell, her brother, William Anderson and her parents William and Daisy Anderson.
