Wayne C. Jones, 70, of Southaven, Miss., died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Southaven, Miss.
He was born June 26, 1941 in Obion, to the late Henry and Marie Jones. He was retired dispatcher for MS Carriers, a member of the Church of Christ, was an Army veteran, and a member of VFW Post 10567 in Southaven and American Legion Post 134 in Horn Lake, MS.
He is survived by two sons, Rodney A. Jones and his wife, Larena of Horn Lake< Miss. and Austin R. Jones of Southaven, Miss.; four sisters, Norma Jean Stark and her husband, Ron of Rio Rancho, NM, Bettye Sue Teague and her husband, Bill; Dorothy Ann Burns and her husband, Nathan, and Alice Juanita Twilla and her husband, Phil, all of Dyersburg; a grandchild, Ethan R. Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 21 from 6-9 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven.
Graveside services will be Thursday, Dec. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Services for Mrs. Dale Lovins 87, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Funeral Home with Rev. Guy. Merryman officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Lovins, the widow of C. T. Lovins died Tuesday morning at the Harbor Place in Puryear, after a long illness. She was born in Dyer County and lived here most of her life, moving to Henry County in 2005 to be near her son. Mrs. Lovins was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dyersburg and served as the secretary of the Women's Home Demonstration Club in Tennessee for several years. Mrs. Lovins was actively involved in many election campaigns in Dyer County and was a retired employee of Woolworth and Sylvania Manufacturing.
She is survived by a son, Robert K. Lovins (Tina) of Springville; a sister, Lois Simpson, of St. Louis, MO; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Carpenter (Collen) and Heather Cryer, and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers to serve will be Collen Carpenter, Jay Cryer and friends.
Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 10:00 A. M. Friday December 23, 2011. Friendship Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

J.P. Gilmore, 71, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
Cremation services will be under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home of Newbern.
W.E. Hollingsworth, 85, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 at his residence.
