A Godly woman, Naoma Edwards Camp, born April 21, 1918 died Dec. 25, 2011 at Maplewood Healthcare in Jackson, Tn.

She was born in Crockett County daughter of the late John and Nannie B. Carman Edwards and lived her entire life there. She was a faithful Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, farmer, factory worker and friend. Mrs. Camp was a devoted member of the Friendship Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Camp and a son Tommy Lee Camp.

She is survived by two daughters, Doris Jean (D J) and husband Herman Williams, Jackson, Tn., Judy Scott (Jerry), Lexington, Tn.; son Harry Michael Camp, Friendship, Tn.; five grandchildren, Michelle Gilliland Stubbs, Chad Scott, Nicole Scott Young, John and Tina Camp and their families; one niece Montene Castellaw; and one nephew Billy Wayne Edwards.

Services will be held Wednesday Dec. 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Friendship Funeral Home with P. J. Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the Bellevernon Cemetery.

The family extends sincere appreciation to the staff of Maplewood for their kind and tender care of our loved one.


Donald Dean Fisher of Dyersburg, died December 26, 2011 at his home. He was originally from Lafayette, IN and Cairo, IL.

He was retired from Dyersburg Regional Medical Center as a nurse anesthetist, graduated with a BS in Nursing and was certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist from Madison, TN School of Anesthesia.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Memorial Services immediately following with the Rev. Robert Stellini of Holy Angels Catholic Church officiating.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joan Martin Fisher; daughters, Charlene Fisher Mullins of Portland, TN and Theresa Fisher of Madison, TN; granddaughter, Alexandra Mullins of Portland, TN; sisters-in-law, Helen Martin Smith of Redmond, WA, Mary Martin Harrell (Sam) of Mt. Home, AR; nieces, nephews and cousins.

George A. Moody, age 70, of Dyersburg, TN, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a self-employed office machine repairman and a member of the West Dyersburg Church Of Christ.

Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg1 with Mr. Laddie Owens officiating. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home of Newbern was in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Marjorie Moody Markham of Rainbow City, Ala.; a son George Alexander Moody II of Dyersburg; former wife Darlene Armstrong Moody of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one brother James T. Moody of Dyersburg; three grandchildren Jarod Grant Markham of Rainbow City, Ala., Mary Allison Markham of Tampa, Fla. and Mackenzie Grace Moody of Halls: and a great-grandson, Bryce Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. John Burton Moody and Mary McCullough Moody; and a brother, John B. Moody III.

Pallbearers were Jarod Grant Markham, Rick Crawford, Pete Pleasant, Jim Moody, Joe Markham and Laddie Owens.


Mrs. Ann Rodgers Mueller, the widow of Charles Samuel Mueller, died on December 25, 2011 at the Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She is survived by two daughters; Holly Mueller and Chelyl Denison and husband Harry, five grandsons; Lane Denison, Blake Denison, Bret Elam, Drew Elam and Brooks Elam. She also leaves four great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include three sisters; Maurine Rodgers Willis, Patty Rodgers Davenport, and Hazel Rodgers Jones and three brothers; Charlie W. Rodgers, Billy Rodgers, and Larry Rodgers.

Services for Mrs. Mueller will be held at 1 p.m. December 28, 2011 at the Halls Funeral Home. The Rev. John Lowrance officiating with burial to follow in the Friendship Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Palestine Cemetery Fund.

Pallbearers: Holly Elam, Cheryl Denison, Lane Denison, Blake Denison, Bret Elam, Drew Elam, Brooks Elam, Johnny Willis and Steve Forsythe.


Jo Ann Hutcheson, 44, of Tiptonville, died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011 at Jackson Regional Hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home.


Fredonia Moore Kerby, 87, of Gates, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.

Graveside services were held Tuesday in the Concord Cemetery near Gates. Halls Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Mary Ann Prince, 62, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 at her residence.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.


Katherine White, 92, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Dyersburg Funeral Home.
