John F. Betsinger, 64 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Friday, December 30, 2011, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, November 6, 1947 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late William Arnold Betsinger and Leona Hopman Betsinger.
Mr. Betsinger was a disabled veteran and US Air Force Veteran.
Memorial services will be held 2:30 Friday, January, 6, 2012 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Farther Robert J. Stellini.
Survivors include his wife Lela M. Waldron Betsinger of Dyersburg, Tennessee; four children Deborah Headden of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Luis A. Salgado of Boston, MA, Ruby R. McConnell of Charlotte, North Carolina and Rhonda M. Little of Cornith, Mississippi; two brothers, Dale Betsinger of Bellville, MI and Bill Betsinger of Fort Worth, TX : a sister, Mary Seppanen of Mio, MI.; 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Betsinger.

Kenneth "Mike" Hampton passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 in Lincoln, Nebraska after battling MS and Parkinson's for the past 16 years.
He was born on October 28, 1947 to Jim and Lou Alice (Dunn) Hampton in Dyersburg, TN.
He entered the US Air Force in 1965 and served for 22 years. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1988. After retirement he worked as an insurance agent in Plattsmouth, NE.
While stationed, Texas, he met his wife, Mary Ellen Daughton. They were married on February 9, 1970 in Honolulu, HI.
Mike was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved golf. He made annual trips to Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee each year fishing with his brothers.
Mike is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen; daughter, Jennifer Babe of Plattsmouth, NE.; son, Christopher Hampton (Becky) of Laramie, WY. He has 6 grandchildren; Tyler Kennedy, Kyle Babe, Kimberly Babe, Aleecya Davis, Lillian Hampton and Isabelle Hampton. He also has two step grandchildren; Merlin and Skylar Goode; brothers Jim and Patty Hampton; Joe and Brenda Hampton all of Dyersburg, TN; David and Peggy Hampton of Jackson, MS.; Don and Bonnie Hampton of Memphis, TN. He has one sister-in-law, Judy Hosp of Denison, TX. He also has 7 nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson Tanner Chase Babe.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:30 P.M. at First Baptist Church - 16220 Hwy 75 - Plattsmouth, NE. Memorials may be made to the family or the Youth Group at First Baptist Church. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Raymond Wicks.
Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2012 at Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home - 306 N. 7th St. - Plattsmouth., NE from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
Laura Jackson, 58, of Ridgely, died Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was an employee of Nordyne and a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Dyersburg.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at H.H. Hudson Funeral Home in Dyersburg. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at Kingdom Hall, located at 1920 Upper Finley Road in Dyersburg, with Elder Danny Kyle officiating.
She leaves her husband, George Jackson of Ridgely; her mother, Gladys Hancock, and father, C.L. Clark, both of Ridgely; a daughter, Gwendolyn Jackson (Gearon) Blevins; two sons, George Jackson and Chefal Jackson, both of Janesville, Wis.; two brothers, L.T. Clark of Chicago Heights, Ill., and Anthony Thomas of Beloit, Wis.; five sisters, Barbara Jean Clark, Linda Clark and Annie Martin, all of Ridgely, Frances Clark of Chicago Heights, Ill., and Angela Harper of Gary, Ind.; and 13 grandchildren.
Cletus Barnell Bell, 81, of Newbern, Tennessee, died Wednesday at Oakwood Community Living Center.

Addie Jane Burks, 97, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, January 3, 2011 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

Lula Hildred Helm, 91, of Mayfield, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2011 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
