Mr. William Lee Armstrong, 40, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis.

Services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday graveside at New Camp Ground Cemetery in Troy with Bro. James Combs and Bro. Kenny Chessor officiating. Interment will follow in New Camp Ground Cemetery near Troy. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Anderson Armstrong of Dyersburg; one daughter, Kaylee Armstrong of Dyersburg; one son, Gage Armstrong of Dyersburg; his mother, Virginia Peterson of Dyersburg; and three brothers, Harold Peterson of Parsons, Edward Armstrong of San Antonio, Tx., and Joseph Patterson of Dover, Tn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Armstrong.

Pallbearers will be Harold Peterson, Joseph Patterson, Kiefer Peterson, Angel Peterson, Michael Sanders, and Dwayne Anderson.

Paul Wayne Combs, age 55, of Trimble, TN, died Friday, January 13, 2012, at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg, TN. He was a truck driver for AAA Cooper and attended Harmony Baptist Church.

He was the son of the late Cherry Combs and the late Annie Lou Ragsdale Combs.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, January 16, 2012 at Pierce Cemetery in Trimble, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Dr. Thomas Parnell and Mr. William Parnell. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, TN.

Mr. Combs is survived by his daughter, Jessica Tidwell and her husband Marshall of Henderson, TN; three sisters, Cherrye Lou Blessing and her husband Buddy of Newbern, TN, Sally Evans of Newbern, TN and Janice Morris and her husband Jimmy of Trimble, TN; a niece who cared for him, Amanda Herren of Dyersburg, TN; and one grandchild, Dharma Tidwell of Henderson, TN.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Dodson.

Pallbearers will be Eric Herren, Buddy Godwin, David Norsworthy, William Lee Borden, Anthony Combs and Barry Thompson.

Mrs. Shirley Parham Leadman, 74, of Paris, TN died Friday, January 13, 2012 at Henry County Medical Center in Paris. She was a member of RoEllen Church of Christ.

Services will be Monday, January 16, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Dr. John Stacy officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 5 until 8 p.m..

Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Jellema of Chicago, Ill.; five sons, Jimmy Walker of Paris, Tn., Timmy Walker, Johnny Walker, and Jamie Decker all of Dyersburg, and Tommy Decker of Elizabethtown, Ill.; one brother, Larry Parham of Dyersburg, 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Era Parham; two sisters, Lavenia Carpenter and Rose Manahan; and 1 Grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Wyatt Jellema, John Jellema, Randy Forsyth, Curtis Parham, Ray "Boogie" Walker, and Jimmy "Bo" Walker.

Leigh Anne Noles Neal, 29, of Kingsport, TN passed away on January 10 in Johnson City, TN due to heart failure. She was a 2001 honor graduate of Dyersburg High School in Dyersburg, TN. She was a summa cum laude graduate of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN and a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene College in Nashville, TN. She was employed by the John Lawson Surgical Group as a physician's assistant in Johnson City, TN.

Leigh Anne was active in her church throughout her life. She was a former member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Dyersburg, TN and a current member of Elizabeth Chapel Methodist Church in Bluff City, TN.

She is survived by her husband Robby Neal of Kingsport, TN , step-son Jake Neal, step-daughter Sidney Neal; her mother Diane Lassiter Noles of Benton, KY; father Charles (Donnie) Noles and step-mother Fonda Noles of Union City, TN; siblings Troy Adams of Franklin, TN; Stephanie Hodges of Harbor Island, Bahamas; Seth Noles of Owensboro, KY; and Ben, Tanner, Heath, and Natalie Noles all of Union City, TN.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charlie and Geneva Noles of Fulton, KY; by her uncle, Philip Lassiter; and by her maternal grandparents, Milton and Lottie Lassiter of Benton, KY.

Funeral services are at the Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Blountville, TN with the Reverend Tim Reid officiating. Interment is at the Tri-Cities Memorial Garden.

A memorial service will be held in Dyersburg, TN on January 22 at 2 pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church. All friends and family are invited. The family asks that in lieu of flowers please honor Leigh Anne's loving spirit with a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital. (On-line donations are available.)

Onita Rose Bevis of Newbern died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 in Humboldt.

Tony Ray Jarrett, 53, of Memphis, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012 at his residence.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at St. Mark Baptist Church. Thompson's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.


Parker Lynn Torrence, infant daughter of Kacey Ables and Shawn Torrence, died Friday at the Regional Hospital of Jackson.
