Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice C. Elliott, 86, will be held at 2pm Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oakhaven Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Elliott was born on August 20, 1925 to Ransom and Ivy Crumley in Dyer County, TN, who have preceded her in death. She passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Henry County Medical Center.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wallace S, Elliott, Jr.; a son Wallace S. Elliott, III; by four sisters; and by two brothers.

She is survived by a son, Thomas L. Elliott and wife Brenda of Springville, TN; three grandchildren, Thomas L. Elliott, Jr. (T. J.) of Cottage Grove, TN, Dianna Leigh Sellers, and Lori Curtis, both of Sardis, TN; five great grandchildren; and by four sisters, Ruth Alford of Millington, TN, Eddie Crews of Dyersburg, TN, Rita Simpson of Dyersburg, TN, and Geraldene Ferguson of Twenty Nine Palms, CA.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 from 4pm until 8pm at Shelton Funeral Home.

Mildred Inez Williams, 68 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg.

Born Friday, April 9, 1943 in Union City, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Joe Ward and the late Ruth Brown Ward.

She was a member of the Northside Church Of Christ, and was a volunteer for Hidden Treasures and the Union Mission.

Graveside services for Mrs. Williams will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 7. 2012, at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely. Officiating this service will be Bro. Sean Sullivan. Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2012 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM.

Mrs. Williams is survived by one son, Glenn Evans of Newbern; one daughter, Sheila Spencer of Dyersburg; one brother, Billy Joe Ward of Amarillo, Texas; three sisters, Lois Boswell of Tiptonville, Shirley Prater of Dyersburg, and Doris Smith of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, Brandie Tubbs and Adam Kilburn of Tiptonville, Justin Butler of Bells, and Ashley Nicole Butler and Anna Marie Spencer of Lakeland, Florida; and two great-grandchildren, Chase Tubbs and Logan Tubbs from Tiptonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Williams and a daughter, Glenda Kilburn.

Pallbearers will be Legend Vires, Jake Tucker, Michael Buckner, Charles Warren, Patrick Zimmerman and Jeff Zimmerman.

Marion Taylor Brasfield, 74, of Friendship, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bellevernon Cemetery. Friendship Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Charlie Lanier, 62, of Ridgely, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7 in the Ridgely chapel of Curry Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.

Kenneth Dale Lovell, 53, of Alamo, died Thursday at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Wilber J. Tatum, 72, of Jackson, formerly of Gates, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Forest Cove Nursing and Rehab Center in Jackson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14 at Buck Chapel in Frog Jump. Thompson's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
