Mrs. Floy Elva Richardson "Sis" Campbell, age 87, of Dyersburg passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Maple Ridge Assisted Living. She was born on February 1, 1925 in Lenox, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of Three Oaks Chapel Church.
Services will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 11, 2012, in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Brother Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, June 10th at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her son, William Paul Campbell and wife, Jeanie, of Lenox; three daughters, Ann C. Foster and husband, Tom, of Millsfield, Vickie C. Thedford, and Connie C. Wright and husband, Tommy, of Dyersburg; eleven grandchildren, Mike Campbell and wife, Lisa of Lenox, Jeff Campbell and wife, Missy of Jackson, Lance Campbell of Lenox, LeAnn F. Childress and husband, Tony of Millsfield, Kelly J. Boswell and husband, Jason of Dyersburg, Scott Foster and wife, Laurie of Newbern, Michelle C. Straile and husband, Chris of Gainesville, Florida, David Thedford and wife, Julie of Dyersburg, Dr. Jeremiah Wright of New York City, Troy Wright and wife, Jenny of Dyersburg, and Rita W. Hunsucker and husband, Justin of Morgantown, West Virginia; sixteen great-grandchildren, Allie Campbell, Hunter Campbell, Connor Campbell, Rebecca Campbell, Adam Shell, Mallory Shell, Catherine Campbell, Anna-Claire Wright, Marlee Thedford, Campbell Boswell, Erin Foster, Jackson Boswell, Robert Straile, Ty Thedford, Carolina Campbell and Cessa Straile; a brother, RP Richardson and wife, Betty of Dyersburg, five sisters, Maxine Coleman and Arlene "Tootie" Hampton both of Dyersburg, Kay King of Marietta, Georgia, and Bobbie Gray and husband Marshall, of Olive Branch, Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Pee Wee" Campbell; her parents Gaston and Elva Killett Richardson, four sisters, Loretta Richardson, Louise "Ease" Reed, Joyce Reed, and Billie Hopper.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Mike Campbell, Jeff Campbell, Lance Campbell, Scott Foster, David Thedford, and Troy Wright, and great-grandsons, Hunter Campbell, Adam Shell and Connor Campbell.
Mrs. Marguerite Pritchett Putman, 99, of Finley, TN died Friday, June 8, 2012 at Lakeshore - The Meadows in Nashville. She was a homemaker and a member of Finley Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, graveside, at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg Home with Bro. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Macqueline "Mackey" Putman Cowan of Nashville; a son, William "Bill" Putman of Nashville; three brothers, Little Joe Pritchett of Finley, Bobby Pritchett of Medford, Oregon, and Billy Pritchett of Mississippi; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carmack Putman and her parents, James and Flora Wilson Pritchett; a brother, Jim Pritchett; and a sister, Mildred Warren.
Pallbearers will be Allen Putman, Michael Putman, Terry Warren, Tim Strunk, Burton Webb, Butch Pritchett, and Dexter Webb.
