Anne Jordan Moore McColgan, 70, of Dyersburg, Tennessee, died on Monday, August 27, 2012, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, January 11, 1942, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Russell Lee Moore and the late Dorothy Frances Jordan Moore.
She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity. She was the Regent of Key Corner Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, a member of the Huguenot Society of the Founders of Manakin in the Colony of Virginia, and a member of First Baptist Church of Dyersburg.
Graveside services for Mrs. McColgan will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2012, at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be The Reverend Raymond A. Boston.
Mrs. McColgan is survived by one son, Dr. William Lewis McColgan III of Conway, Arkansas; one daughter, Anne Trabue McColgan Stair and husband, John, of Knoxville, Tennessee; one brother, The Honorable Russell Lee Moore, Jr. of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Emery Edmondson Stair and Susanna Trabue Stair, both of Knoxville, Tennessee, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be John Tigrett Burks, Norman Burks, Jr., Norman Bradley Burks, James Merle Larson, Dr. Olyn Fred Moore III, and Lieutenant Commander Russell Lee Moore III.
