Faye Bell, 78 of Newbern, died on Friday, August 31, 2012, at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, August 11, 1934 in Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Newt Brooks and the late Delia Boldan Brooks.
She was a retired employee of Trimble Manufacturing.
Graveside services for Mrs. Bell will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 7, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. Ronnie Turner. Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bell is survived by two sons, Gary Bell and wife Debbie of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Bill Bell of Newbern, Tennessee; two, brothers, Van Brooks of Lobelville, Tennessee and Harvey Ray Moore of Linden, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren and 16 Great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Barnell Bell and a sister, Ida Mae Comer.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Bell, Scotty Bell, Jack Bell, Corky Erwin, Ed Benthal and Jerry Goodman.

Hazel Lorene Davis, 90, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired beautician and a member of Cornerstone Church of God.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. O.L. Hart officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Helen Rice and husband, Charles, and Willa Dean Coburn, all of Dyersburg; four grandchildren, Allen Rice and wife, Penny, of Dyersburg; Stephanie Guest and husband, Scott, of Atlanta, GA, Selena Barker and husband, Robert, of Dyersburg and Ryan Davis and wife, Dana, of Nashville; and four great-grandchildren, Taylor Wilkerson, Allisyn Rice, Kayla Barker and Skylar Guest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Davis; a son, Darrell Davis; a son-in-law, Royce Coburn; a grandson, Kevin Coburn; her parents, Thomas and Birdie Russell; three sisters, Mary Denning, Mildred Murray and Jewell Bell; and four brothers, James Russell, Edward Russell, Lloyd Russell and Odell Russell.
Pallbearers will be Allen Rice, Robert Barker, Taylor Wilkerson, Ryan Davis, Scott Guest and Tim Epperson.
Sharon Cathy Dunevant, 65, of Newbern, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at her residence.
She was a retired factory worker for Dyersburg Fabrics and a member of Springhill Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Harris officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Byrd of Newbern; a son, Michael Dunevant of Newbern; two sisters, Carol Parker of Dresden and Shelia Suratt of Murfreesboro; three brothers, Larry Montgomery of Smyrna, Terry Montgomery of Hazel Green, AL and Sam Staggs of Dresden; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Paul Dunevant; a son, Paul Dunevant; and her parents, William and Ruth Smith Staggs.
Pallbearers will be David Montgomery, Nathan Montgomery, Chad Enochs and Jason Birke.
Margie Mae Koonce, 75, of Maury City, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012 at her residence.
Prior to retiring, she was employed at The Winter Garden (currently Pictsweet) in Bells, and ABB Inc. in Alamo. She was a member of New First Baptist Church in Maury City.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at New First Baptist Church, located at 394 Chester St. in Maury City. The Rev. Lenwood Reed, pastor, will officiate.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
She leaves to cherish her memories 2 sons, Eduardo Koonce (Trenton, Tenn.) and Carl Houston Koonce Jr. (Canton, Miss.); 7 daughters, Martha Bates (Flint, Mich.), Wilma Sue Hicks (Jackson, Tenn.), Dera Fowlkes (Dyersburg) Jovater Meadows, Bobbie Jean Williamson and Carla Nance (all of Maury City), and Diane Carter (McKenzie); 2 sisters, 9 brothers, 1 uncle, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Hiwatha Midgett Yancy, and 19 siblings.

Richard Keith Turnbow, 53, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at his residence.
He was a retired truck driver.

Thomas Woodrow (Tom) Tweedy, age 70 of Lawrenceville, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012.

Mr. Tweedy was a Christian and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
