Frances I. Adcock, 87 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at her residence.

Born Friday, July 17, 1925 in Dyer County , Tennessee.

She was the daughter of the late Dewey Monroe Inman and late Minnie Lee "Gray" Blankenship.

She was homemaker.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Williams, Bro. Craig Inman, and Rev. Dan Tilly officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 10, 2012, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

Surviving are sons, Luke Adcock of Dyersburg, TN, James Franklin Adcock (Marsha) of Dyersburg, TN, Bobby Adcock(Cindy) of Dyersburg and Donald Adcock(Patricia) of Dyersburg, TN, daughter, Glenda Faye Weaver of Dyersburg, TN, brothers, James Inman of Trenton, TN, Roy Inman, David Inman of Trenton, TN and Cheryl Inman of Trenton, TN, sisters, Freda Crocker of Union City, TN, Mary Quinton of Trenton, TN, Linnie Day of Jackson, TN, Barbara Gamble of Florida, Gail Pillow of Gibson, TN and Rose Wood of Trenton, TN; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Buddie Adcock, brothers Ira Inman, Ronnie Inman, and T.C. Inman a sister Billie Harper and grandchild Jimmy Dale Adcock.

Pallbearers will be Josh Adcock, Danny Harris, Jarrod Harris, Ralph Whitney, Paul Ward, and Randall Beaver.

Donna Sue Clanton, 41 of Dyersburg, died Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

She was a homemaker.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her three sisters, Carolyn Sisk and Patricia Duke, both of Dyersburg and Sharon Lemons of Newbern; and a brother, Michael Clanton of Newbern.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John, Sr. and Ruth Wright Clanton; and a brother, John Billy Clanton, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Clanton, Jerry Canada, Jr., Brandon East, Cody Campton, Josh Wilson and Ray Wilson, Jr.

Starling Glen Gulde, 69 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Monday, September 10, 2012, at Baptist Hospital in Union City, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, April 24, 1943 in Trout, Louisiana. He was the husband of Wanda Savage.

He was retired truck driver for Boyle Transportation.

Surviving are daughter, Denise Douglas of Memphis, TN, brothers, Carl Gulde (Clarenda) of Jena, LA and Samuel Gulde(Gloria) of Jena, LA, sister, Johnnie Mae Spinks(Charles) of Jena, LA, mother in law, Mackie Love of Dyersburg, TN,

He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Glen Gulde; his parents Starling A. and Lola Whatley Gulde;

All services will take place in Jena, Louisiana with Hixion Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Interment will be in Belah Cemetery,

Hammie Pope, Jr., 79, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired technical sergeant with The United States Air Force, member of Second Baptist Church, retired from City of Dyersburg Gas Department, where he worked for 13 years, former Dyer County Constable for 14 1/2 years, a Mason, member of American Legion, member of Air Force Sergeants Association and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Turner officiating. Burial will be in Yorkville Cemetery with full military honors.

The family received visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Dennard Pope of Dyersburg; a daughter, Nancy Jane Goad and husband, Jimmy, of Liberty; a son, Billy Pope and wife, Jennifer, of Dyersburg; two half-brothers; two half-sisters; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Thomas "Buddy" Kelly; and his parents, Hammie, Sr. and Myrtle James Pope.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Waller, Ken Goff, Darwin Pope, Lynn Parker, Harvey Barrett, Carl Chase, David Weaver, William Parker and Tommy Childress.

Donald "Duck" Davis, 65, of Gates, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.

Services will be today at 11 a.m. at the Halls Funeral Home.


Jacob Nunley, 18, of Dyersburg, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Mary "Sue" Reynolds VanCanney, 84, of Munford, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Halls Funeral Home.
