Peggy Joyce Daniel, 77, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at her residence.
She was a retired co-owner of Daniel & Son Amusement Company, member and former treasurer at Springhill Baptist Church and a former employee of Colonial Rubber Works.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Crews officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Robert R. Daniel of Dyersburg; a son, Jimmy D. Daniel of Dyersburg; a brother, Irby Chambers of Florida; three grandchildren, Leslie S. Harrison and husband, Rodney, of Newbern, Nikki D. Scrivener and husband, Matthew, of Brentwood and Chad Daniel of Nashville; and five great-grandchildren, Blake Scrivener, Luke Scrivener, Rylan Harrison, Brooklyn Harrison and Adalyn Harrison.
She was preceded in death by a son, Doug Daniel; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Tim Byars, Tom Buss, Kyle Cox, Charles D. Chappell, Kenneth Patterson and Mike Harrington. Honorary pallbearers will be Betty Clark, Peggy Gibson, Mary Lou McGuire and Mary Arcera.
Mr. Danny R. Darnell passed away Tuesday, September 18th, 2012 at Baptist East Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee at the age of 63 years, 7 months and 14 days.
Danny was born February 4th, 1949 in Hayti, Missouri to Curtis Darnell and Lula Mae Lamply Darnell. He was united in marriage to Linda F. Shelby on June 6th, 1969 in Caruthersville, Missouri. Linda passed away July 8th, 1996 and Danny remarried on April 24th, 2004 to Ms Dawn Shaffer.
Danny attended school in Braggadocio, Missouri. He worked for Choctaw Transportation as a General Manager and Riverboat Pilot. He made friends easily and was always willing to help others in need.
Danny is survived by his wife Dawn Shaffer Darnell, 4 children; Danny Ray Darnell Jr., Dena Cruise, Drew Darnell and Joie Barbieri, his mother; Lula Mae Darnell, 2 brothers; Curtis Darnell and Joe Darnell, 3 sisters; Doris Pearson, Mary Cannon and Alice Cobb as well as numerous other relatives and friends,
Preceding Danny in death was his father, Curtis Darnell and a wife, Linda F. Darnell.
Visitation for Mr. Darnell was Thursday, September 20th, 2012 in the Chapel of H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville, Missouri. Funeral services were held immediately following the visitation with Pastor Henry Shaffer officiating.
H.S. Smith Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Brian Robert Helwig, most recently of Jacksonville FL, died Monday September 3, 2012. He was born in Williamsport, PA July 7, 1960, the son of the late Robert Andrew Helwig and Mary Kathleen (Crouse) Helwig. Brian was raised in Ripley TN, and was a 1979 graduate of Ripley High School, but lived most of his life in New Oxford, PA. Brian loved the beauty of the outdoors and had an exceptional passion for sailing and photography. Surviving is his daughter, Corinne Kathleen Helwig of New Oxford, PA, three brothers, Mark Helwig and his wife Cindy of Wellington FL, Kevin Helwig and his wife Nancy of Ripley, TN, Michael Helwig and his wife Cheryl of Ventura CA, three sisters, Rosemary Roberson of Savannah TN, Therese Sullivan of Covington TN and Kara Wright and her husband Jim of Glenville PA, plus many nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly. A prayer service and memorial will be held Saturday October 6, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church New Oxford with the Deacon Thomas Aumen officiating. A gathering will be held at the St. Paul Dubs Church Conway-Runkle building at 1958 Dubs Church Road Hanover, PA on October 7, 2012 at 4:00 pm. Prior to the gathering on October 7th, everyone is welcome to meet for a day of fun at the lake (Codorus) in the Sailboat launch area. Burial will be private. Donald Wayne Sutton, 65, of Tatumville, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at his residence.
He was an environmental supervisor for the State of Tennessee, where he worked for 40 years, member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg, a Mason, member of Tennessee Environmental Health Association, a former Boy Scout Leader and a former Shriner.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Dyersburg with the Rev. Mike Hickman and the Rev. Frank Gardner officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Foust Sutton of Tatumville; a daughter, Cori Beth Sutton of Martin; a son, Mike Sutton and wife, Tracey, of Martin; a brother, Winston Sutton and wife, Cyndi, of Martin; and five grandchildren, Matthew Thomason, Jordan Thomason, Joshua Thomason, Jansen Thomason and Jenna Marie Sutton.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Kyle Sutton; and his parents, Wayne and Lessie Hatley Sutton.

Jessie Herman Bradford, 88, of Newbern, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services will be at 3 PM today at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM-2:45 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
