Raymond L. Hutson, 78, of Dyersburg, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired manager for Dyersburg Fabrics and Trenton Mills, member of First Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon, elder and Sunday School Teacher, now serves as Elder Emeritus, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Wally Bumpas officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Hutson of Dyersburg; a daughter, Lori Kirkpatrick and husband, Carroll, of Germantown; a son, Kenneth Hutson of Union City; and a granddaughter, Katie Kirkpatrick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lilburn and Jettie Tucker Hutson; and a brother, Milton Hutson.
Pallbearers will be Floyd Sullivan, Dale Milner, Gerald Brandon, Miles Shatzer, Quintin Little, Willis Chapman and John A. Johnston. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin McGuire, Grady Welch, Troy Kerber and John Hoff.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Alzheimer's Association or to First Presbyterian Church.
Braxton Allen Wilson, infant son of Brent Allen Wilson and Pamela Jane Jones of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Sunday, September 23, 2012, at Baptist Hospital in Union City, Tennessee
Funeral services for Braxton will be 1:00 PM, Friday in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Jim Wolfgang. Internment will follow in Mayfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
In addition to his parents Braxton is survived by his sister, Alexis Nicole Wilson of Newbern, Tennessee: Grandparents, Bobby and Angela Burkeen of Miston, Tennessee, David and Ann Wilson of Dyersburg, Tennessee and J.R. and Sarah Jones of Obion, Tennessee; Great-Grandparents, Danny and Barbara Dotson of Trenton, Tennessee, Lula Mae Wilson of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Jerry Lee and Wanda Jones of Ripley, Tennessee, Robert and Geneva Crowell of Obion, Tennessee and Mickey and Eddie Mae Proctor of Dyersburg, Tennessee and four Uncles, Chase Irving and Skylar Wilson both of Miston, Tennessee, Mitch Proctor of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Scotty Jones of Obion, Tennessee.
Braxton was preceded in death by two Great-Grandfathers, J. L. Wilson and Junior Dwayne Jones.
