Albert Donald "Don" Forrester, 84, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, June 21, 1928 in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James Albert Forrester and the late Edith Barker Forrester.
Mr. Forrester was a retired truck driver for the Newbern Sales Barn, former employee of Tigrett & Shibley Insurance and Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. He attended Center United Methodist Church for many years and was a member of Newbern United Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Mr. Forrester will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 30, 2012, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating this service will be Rev. Leah Thornton, Dr. Thomas Parnell, Mr. Jack Grills and Mr. Patrick Williams. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Mr. Forrester is survived by his wife 64 of years, Jean Grills Forrester of Newbern, Tennessee; one daughter, Josie Forrester Gorzula of Newbern, Tennessee; two grandsons, Michael James Gorzula and Joseph Burton Gorzula both of Newbern, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Stefania Gorzula of Dyersburg, Tennessee and one great-granddaughter, Isabella Henry of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Meredith Forrester Wells.
Pallbearers will be Cody Grills, Hunter Grills, Rusty Grills, J. C. Grills, Perry Grills, Aaron Jones, Cranston Webb & Tyler Huie.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Carpenter, Ronald Carpenter, Don Hilliard, Mack Forrester and Harold Forrester.

Clarence McKellar Morton, 96, of Friendship, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at Alamo Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was a farmer and a member of Bethesda Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Services will be held at noon Monday, Oct. 1 at Friendship Funeral Home with Ronnie Pittenger officiating. Burial will be in Bellevernon Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors Sunday, Sept. 30 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Baysden and Jeanette Hutchison (Billy), both of Friendship; a sister, Louise Vie of Bells; a brother, Horace Morton Jr. of Cottage Grove, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Corey Hutchison, Troy Hutchison, Jackie Peterson, Shawnee Brasfield, John Honeycutt and Brian Boley. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Mansfield, Rickey Hart, Ray Turner, Gerald Rogers, Joe Young and Larry Leath.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel B. Woods Morton, and a son, Joe Miller Morton.
