Stephen Clanton, 59 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, February 11, 1953 in Dyer County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Norman Clanton and the late Lillian Pearline Patterson Smith.
He was retired from the US Navy.
Graveside services for Mr. Clanton will be 11:30, Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Patrick Williams. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:30-8:00 at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
Mr. Clanton is survived by son, Kylee Clanton of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Maria Clanton Fortner and Maeleea Clanton Fisher both of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one step-son Lynnlee Vires of Jackson, Tennessee; one brother, Earl Clanton of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Lela Dawn Haynie of Jackson, Tennessee and Dianne Owens of Sparks, Maryland and 13 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Joe Alton Little, 78, of Obion died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Union City.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. Michael Julian officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jerry Leggett. Burial is to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Obion.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Hudgins, Aaron Boone, Gerald Leach, Nick Leach, Alan Jordan, David Jackson and Brandon Leach.

He was born July 2, 1934, in Trimble, son of the late Bryan and Zona (McManus) Little. He was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of First Baptist Church in Obion.
He is survived by his wife, Sue (Leach) Little of Obion; four daughters, Jo Carolyn Menees and Alicia Hurt, both of Union City, Jan Bailey of Sharon and June Tirey of Troy; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister in infancy.
