Alvon Glenn "PawPaw" Cariker, 75, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at his residence.
He was a former maintenance superintendant at Gulf Coast Gain Company and a member of Three Oaks Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Burial will be in Neely's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his two daughters, Debbie Mink of Tiptonville and Teresa Evans and husband, Gerald, of Dyersburg; a son, Terry Cariker and wife, Debbie, of Yukon, OK; a brother, Thomas Cariker and wife, Barbara, of Marion, AR; seven grandchildren, Leslie Lambert and husband, Jeff, of Finley, Phillip Mink and wife, Jennifer, of Harrisburg, AR, Monica Byrd and husband, Eric, of Tiptonville, Chris Cariker of Yukon, OK, Erika Bain of Newbern, Megan Cariker of Yukon, OK and Emily Evans of Dyersburg; ten great-grandchildren, Gavin, Luke and Trevor Lambert, Sam, Brian and Blakely Mink, and Madison, Bryce, Erin and Ashleigh Byrd; and his caregiver, Candi Vaughn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maynard and Lena Johnson Cariker; and eight brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Lambert, Eric Byrd, Phillip Mink, Chris Cariker, Sammy Copeland and David Wallis. Honorary pallbearers will be Gavin Lambert, Luke Lambert, Sam Mink and Brian Mink.
