The Veterans Museum in Halls will host its Veterans Day Recognition and Courtyard Dedication at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 10.
This year's speaker will be Lt. Gen. "Glad" Castellaw (USM Ret.) of Alamo. The featured vocalist will be Col. Phillip Leslie Newman (USM Ret).
All veterans and their branches of service will be recognized.
Service members, retired and active are invited to wear their respective uniforms.
Following the recognition ceremony, Veterans Museum Director Pat Higdon said guests will be included in the museum's Courtyard Dedication for bricks and pavers purchased in the last year.
Those purchasing bricks include First Citizens National Bank, Harold Greaves, Sonny Higdon, Jack and Dot Harness, Marjorie and E. Stanley Caummisar Sr., Howard G. Lee, Harry Richardson, B. Aaron, R.J. Thrash, G.T. Hargrove, C.T. Thrash, Wednesday Book Club, and Janie H. Klutts Wheatley.
A reception will be held in the museum's conference room, with friends and family also invited to a brief dedication of the Sonny Higdon exhibit located in the Vehicle Room of the Museum.
