Trends: According to Federal and State Market News Service, compared to
last week, Slaughter cows and bulls steady. Feeder steers and bulls under
350 lbs 6.00 to 15.00 higher, over 350 lbs steady to 3.00 lower. Feeder
heifers under 500 lbs 3.00 to 11.00 higher, over 500 lbs steady to 4.00
lower. Quality poor to good. Demand moderate.
Slaughter cows 102 hd; Bulls 8 hd; Total feeders 771 hd; Feeder supply:
steers and bulls 470 hd, heifers 301 hd; Feeders over 600 lbs 179 hd;
Replacement and/or feeder cows 48 hd.
