This year's event is looking to be the largest ever with more than 50 decorated trees, a visit from Santa Claus and his helpers, life-size postcards from local schools, caroling, musical performances in the Sorghum Valley Church, story time in the log cabin, thousands of lights and decorations and wonderful holiday refreshments such as hot chocolate and s'mores!
The event is free and open to the public but in the spirit of giving, the Dyer County Fair Board will be collecting donations of canned goods, animal food, coats, toys, blankets, hearing aids and eyeglasses to support the following organizations:
* The Union Mission
* The Salvation Army
* The State Gazette Coats for Kids program
* The Dyersburg/Dyer County Humane Society
* The Lions Club
