Johnny Wilburn Willis, 73, of Tiptonville, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was retired from CPS, former Tiptonville Police Officer, former deputy with the Lake County Sheriff's Department and a retired farmer.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Batchelor and Mr. Ed Sumara officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his daughter, Shena Herron and husband, Clint, of Ripley; a son, Mike Willis and wife, Marilyn, of Murray, KY; a sister, Wilma Beal of Tiptonville; a brother, Leroy Willis of Knoxville; six grandchildren, Leah Jacobs, Matthew Willis, Kolby Herron, Zach Herron, Jessica Herron and Marlee Herron; and three great-grandchildren, Brittany Jacobs, Tyler Jacobs and Baby Hannah Willis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Willis; and his parents, Doss and Ruby Williams Willis.
Pallbearers will be Gerald Beal, Jamey Beal, Dennis Dill, Randy Crosno, Shawn Dill and Tim Dill. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Owens, John Riley, Shane Erwin, Royce Holder, Doug Roberson and Rodney Marvin.
Harold Beasley, 72, of Bonicord, died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Thomas David Essig, of Blytheville, Arkansas, died Saturday in Blytheville.
