Mary Sugg Baker, 90, of Dyersburg, TN died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a loving aunt and great-aunt.

Services will be at 11:00 am, Monday, December 10, 2012 Graveside at Fairview Cemetery with Dr. Larry Blakeburn officiating. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The Baker family will receive visitors Monday, December 10, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include her sister, Teeny Williams of Jackson; a sister-in-law, Margaret Baker of Dyersburg; 3 nieces, Linda Baker of Dyersburg, Amy Smith of Jackson, and Nancy LaPlace of Memphis; 2 nephews, Allen Williams III, of Palm Bay, Florida and Richard Baker of Dyersburg; 9 great-nieces and nephews, Rachel Burton, Joseph Williams, Allen Williams, IV, Elinor Frances Smith, Margaux LaPlace, Trent LaPlace, Maurie Baker McCain, Margaret Baker and Mary Jewels Baker and her beloved Sophie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Richard Baker and Bessie Stone Baker; and her brother, Joe William Baker.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Anderson, Albert Fowlkes, Richard Baker, Allen Williams, Eden Smith and Forrest McCain.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Dyersburg Dyer County Union Mission or one of the Donor's Choice.

William Harold Beasley, 72, of Bonicord, died Thursday, December 6, 2012 at his residence.

He was a retired salesman for Quality Foods, member of Fowlkes Baptist Church, volunteer at the Veterans Museum at the Halls Air Base, Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of the Marine Corps Cryptologic Association.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Layman and the Rev. Dr. Larry Blakeburn officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Newbern.

The family received visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Brenda Godwin Beasley of Bonicord; two daughters, Joanna Grathwell of Big Sandy and Brandie Hurst of Henderson; a son, Steven Beasley of Dyersburg; a sister, Judy Hutchison of Nashville; a brother, Rodger Beasley of Covington; and seven grandchildren, Dalton Grathwell, Jonah Grathwell, Alexander Hurst, William Hurst, Anna Hurst, Karol Anne Hurst and Sarah Beth Hurst.

He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Beasley; and his parents, Horace and Mae McLaughlin Beasley.

Pallbearers will be Guy Wesley Fowler, David King, Larry Beasley, Mike McLaughlin, Billy Ray McLaughlin and Dale McCaslin. Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Kesterson, Billy Binkley, Troy Binkley, Johnny Dillahay, Riley Sullivan, Larry Fowlkes and Clayton Hayes.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Veterans Museum in Halls.

Thomas David Essig, 23 of Blytheville, Arkansas died on Saturday, December 1, 2012 In Blytheville, Arkansas.

Born Thursday, May 4, 1989 in Sandwich, Illinois. He was SPC in the United States Army.

Memorial services for Mr. Essig will be 3:00 P.M., Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Family and Friends officiating.

Survivors include his Mother, Tallie Medcalf and her husband Fred of Blytheville, Arkansas; his Father, Robert Charles Essig of Oswego, Illinois; three sisters, Dakota, Deirdra and Christine; four brothers, Robert Christopher, Seth and Steven; Grandmother, Annette Forbes of Newbern, Tennessee; Grandfather, Charlie Essig of Illinois; 3 Aunts, 2 Uncles, many cousins and his family in Halls, Tennessee.

Mrs. Mary Lee Watson, 89, of Nashville formerly of Dyersburg died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Healthcare Center at West Meade Place in Nashville, TN. She worked for a number of years at Dyersburg Fabrics, was co-owner of American Glass was an active member of Bellevue United Methodist Church and while she lived in Dyersburg was an active member of First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, December 10, 2012 in the Chapel of Curry Funeral Home conducted by Dr. David Russell. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Curry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Hendren, Eddie Anderson, Fred Bell, Mike Moore, David Buchannon and Shelton Jones.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Outpost Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church and Fellowship Sunday School Class at Bellevue United Methodist Church in Nashville.

The Watson family will receive visitors 5:00 pm -- 8:00 pm, Sunday, December 9, 2012 and Monday beginning at 11:30 at the funeral home.

Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Lord and husband Mike of Nashville; a son, Stan Watson of Dyersburg; five grandchildren, Michael Lord (Melissa), Tom Lord (Stephanie), Miles Holland, Bronson Watson and Bob Tweedy (Beth); and 5 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Watson; a daughter, Freddie Tweedy; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Watson; two sisters, Bessie Arnold and Emma Jones; two brothers, W. I. Sherbit and J. G. Sherbit and her parents, W.I. and Hessie Ann Davison Sherbit.

The family would like to thank the staff of Healthcare Center at West Meade Place and Guardian Hospice in Nashville.
