Gladys Adams, 95 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at Dyersburg Manor in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Tuesday, February 27, 1917 in Newbern, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Gibson and the late Mattie Lou Payne Gibson. She was the retired owner of Gladys' Dress Shop, retired owner of Adams Dairy Farm and was a former employee of Morris Manufacturing. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Newbern First Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee with the Rev. Steve Mills officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 Noon until 1:15 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

She is survived by one nephew, Johnny Gibson of Dyersburg, Tennessee; a brother-in-law, Joe Adams of Tiptonville, Tennessee; her husband's nephew and niece Kyle Adams of Meridian, Mississippi and Belynda Adams of Birmingham, Alabama and one great-nephew and four great-nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie H. Adams.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Adams, John Reed Gibson, Jeremiah Hollingsworth, Harry Smith, Ryan Hicks and Alton Winchester.

Demetra Rae O'Guinn, 62 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Monday, December 10, 2012, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, May 3, 1950 in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was a Home-Maker and member of the Main Street Church Of Christ in Newbern, Tennessee.

Graveside services for Ms. O'Guinn will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Rev. James Combs.

She is survived by two sons, Trevor Joseph Miotti of Newbern, Tennessee and Tracey Ray Miotti of Cordova, Tennessee; one daughter, Nickole Marie Miotti of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, her mother Carmaletia Featherston O'Guinn of Newbern, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Kayle Rae Miotti, Mason Joseph Miotti, Dalton Seth Miotti, Serena Jordan Geary and Preston Ainsley Miotti and a special friend Milton Davis of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Ms. O'Guinn was preceded in death by her father, Ray Calvin O'Guinn and a brother, Bruce Allen O'Guinn.
