Phoebe Alana Boals, 20 months, daughter of Patrick and Christian Boals of Dyersburg died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her residence.
The Boals family will receive visitors Monday, January 7, 2013 at Holy Angels Catholic Church from 11:00 am until 12 Noon.
Funeral services for Phoebe will be Monday, January 7, 2013 at 12:30 pm at Holy Angels Catholic Church with Father Robert Stellini officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Boals, Austin Emmett, Preston Barbee and Gary Holmes.
She is survived by her parents, Patrick and Christian Boals of Dyersburg, a sister Ruby Kathryn Boals and a brother Carter London Boals, both of Dyersburg, her grandparents, Kathy and George Yarbro of Dyersburg, Tim and Cheryl Shannon of Leesburg, AL, her great-grandparents Paul and Cora London of Cleveland, GA, Henry and Shirley Holmes of Dyersburg, her aunts and uncles, Jennifer and Shane Cozort, Spencer Boals, all of Dyersburg, Austin and Mariah Emmett of Leesburg, AL, her godparents Lana Cozort and Gary Holmes and many loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry Mack Boals and two uncles, Andrew Watkins and Craig Watkins.

Mrs. Carol Jean Serr Connell, formerly of Dyersburg passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2012 at Sunrise Senior Living of Plano, Texas.
Mrs. Connell grew up in Lakeland, Fl. and attended The University of Memphis. She was a mother and homemaker and longtime member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg where she taught Sunday School. She was active in Cub Scouting and Girl Scouts as a leader and as President and Life Member of the Alice Thurmond School PTA as well as the Medical Auxiliary and Dyersburg Garden Club. She was named Outstanding Young Woman by the Dyersburg Jaycees Club in 1970.
Mrs. Connell is survived by her husband, Dr. Joseph Donald "Don" Connell, two sons, Joseph Donald Connell, Jr. of Nashville and David Byron Connell of St. James, Mo., two daughters, Cindy Connell Russell of Dallas, Texas and Charlene Connell White of Dyersburg , twelve grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a sister, Shirley Post, of Jacksonville, Fl.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Bonnie Serr and a sister, Charlotte Williams.
Visitation will be held at Noon, Saturday Jan. 5, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Dyersburg with Funeral Services following at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Halls Cemetery in Halls, Tn.

Ronald L. Ferguson, 77, of Fisherville, Ky., died on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at his home.
Born in Louisville, he was a graduate of the class of 1953 of St. Xavier High School where he was a member of the football and track teams. He attended the University of Kentucky and the Speed School of Engineering, where he graduated with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked most of his career in the printing industry in rotogravure, and was retired from World Color Press in Dyersburg, TN. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and an avid UK fan.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sue Creech Ferguson; his children, Michael of Fisherville, Scott (Annette) of Union City, TN, Lyn (Kasey) Ferguson-Martin of Mt. Washington, and David (Debbie) of Kingwood, TX; grandchildren Benjamin, Daniel, Joseph, Savannah, and Sean; sisters, Jacqueline (Bob) Colyer of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Mary Deloris Walters of Louisville, brother, Russell (Sherry) of Birmingham, AL, and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother Anna Marie Bohr Ferguson, brothers Richard, Robert, and Larry, and sisters Norma and Carol.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 7, 2013 at St. Michael Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Drive, at 10:00 a.m., with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 10600 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown.

Tommie Andrew Nolan, 60, of Newbern, TN died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, TN. Mr. Nolan was employed at Newbern Feed Mill as a delivery worker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Jones Street Church of Christ located at 421 Jones St. in Newbern, TN with Bro. Jesse Webb officiating.
