Dyersburg Regional welcomes first baby of new year

Dyersburg Regional Medical Center staff welcome the first baby of 2013 with a variety of presents. Michael Jr. McKinnis of Halls arrived at 12:42 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 3. His parents, Antwanete Wells and Michael McKinnis, were provided with a 'Jammin' Jungle', toys and safety items needed to baby proof their home. Michael is the little brother of Ja'Marriaha O'Shay Wells.
Dyersburg Regional Medical Center welcomed the first baby of the new year a few days into 2013.

Michael Jr. McKinnis, son of Antwanete Wells and Michael McKinnis of Halls, arrived at 12:42 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 3. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measured 20 inches long.

As a New Year baby, Michael was presented a variety of presents from DRMC staff. He received a "Jammin' Jungle", a car window shade, a stroller hook, a healthcare kit and a childproofing kit.

Michael is the little brother of Ja'Marriaha O'Shay Wells.
