Keith Allen Campbell, 54, of Odin, Ill., formerly of Dyersburg, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at his residence.

He was quality control at World Color Press and a member of Odin Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday at Paradise Cemetery. Rogers-Atkins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Moore and Edward Jr. and Page Gray and Jesse, both of Jesse; three brothers, Gerald Campbell of Odin, Ill., Daryle Campbell of Franklin, Ky. And David Campbell of Centralia, Ill.; and three grandchildren, Rylee Elizabeth Moore, Kylee Elaine Moore and Mallory Gean Gray.

He is preceded in death by two grandsons, Gavin Tyler Gray and Charles Cotton Gray.


William Eugene Epley, 73, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at his residence.

He was a retired MSGT of the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 20 years and a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a self-employed quality control auditor, an active member of Finley United Methodist Church, where he served on several boards. His hobbies were enjoying his grandchildren, reading and his love of flying. He was an organ and tissue donor.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Francene Welch Epley of Dyersburg; his son, Barry Gene Epley and wife, Dana, of Dyersburg; three daughters, Janet Rae Reese and husband, Richard, of Jackson, Elizabeth Bruerton of Dyersburg and Christina Borden and husband, Brad, of Jackson; two sisters, Linda Epley of Dyersburg and Brenda Russell of Bogota; two brothers, Jack Epley and wife, Sandy, of Greenville, SC and Jimmy Epley and wife, Carol, of Memphis; four grandchildren, Richard Lunn, Logan Epley, Annabelle Reese and Caroline Borden; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmon and Mildred Henderson Epley.

Pallbearers will be Richard Lunn, Logan Epley, Joe Williams, Jr., Matthew Williams, Miles Epley and John Russell, Jr.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Finley United Methodist Church or to the Salvation Army.


Chester P. Sorrell, 82, of Dyersburg, died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Jackson Regional Hospital.

He was a retired owner of several service stations and a member of First Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Buckley and the Rev. Charles Halliburton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Maxwell and husband, David, of Hoover, AL; his daughter-in-law, Martha Jones Sorrell of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Julie Maxwell of Birmingham, AL, Chris Sorrell of Dyersburg and Lisa Maxwell Terry of Helena, AL; one great-grandchild, Cooper Maxwell Terry; and his friend and caregiver, Judy Campbell of Dyersburg.

He was preceded in death by his son, Johnnie D. Sorrell; and his parents, Johnny W. and Fannie Chester Sorrell.


Ann Butler, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died Monday at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.


Walter A. Clevenger, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died Sunday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral arrangements for Mr. Clevenger will be announced by Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.


Ray L. Geltner, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died Monday at The Highlands of Dyersburg. Cremation services are under the direction of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.


Jerry M. Shull, 78, of Ridgely, TN died Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
