Frank Edward Bobo, 84, of Tiptonville, formerly of Obion County, died Jan. 10, 2013, at The Bridge at Ridgely.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Tiptonville Church of Christ, with Don Reel officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Obion.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.

Pallbearers will be David Gooch, Paul Algee, Bobby Crocker, Mack Forrester, Joel Bargery, Joe Enoch and Tony Wallace. Honorary pallbearers will be Gordon Burress, J.T. Burress, Charlie Cochran, W.C. Haynes, Les Hamm and Malcolm Chisholm.

The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

He was born Feb. 15, 1928, in Obion County, son of the late Roy and Opal (Gurien) Bobo. He married the former Mildred Mosley June 15, 1962. She survives. He was the retired manager of the Lake County Utility District, which he served from 1957-92. He then served as a commissioner of the utility district from 1992-2010. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of Tiptonville Church of Christ and Masonic Harmony Lodge No. 184 in Tiptonville. He was also a member of Al Chymia Shriners and Tiptonville Lions Club. He is also survived by several nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ray Bobo, Kenneth Bobo, Dale Bobo and Billy Bobo.

Mr. Matthew R. Crawford, 90 of Tiptonville, TN died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Home in Tiptonville, TN. Mr. Crawford, was born May 20, 1922 to the late Walter and Mary Ella Hannah Crawford in Lambert, MS. Mr. Crawford was a U.S Army veteran of WWII and a retiree of Lake County Bean Mill in Tiptonville, TN.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. at St. John #3 M.B. Church located at 908 Lake St., Tiptonville, TN; Pastor Eddie Barnett, eulogizing. The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Crawford leaves to cherish his memories 4 daughters: Mary Lynn Tyler (Tiptonville, TN), Ann Ceaser Martin (Fulton, KY), Shirley Gross (Lambert, MS), Bertha Jackson (St. Louis, MO); 6 sons: Charles, Ceaser (Dyersburg, TN); Morris Ceaser, Walter Lee Ceaser (both of Tiptonville, TN), L.E. Ceaser (Ridgely, TN), J.T. Ceaser (Hickman, KY), Willie Ceaser (Union City, TN); 4 brothers: Walter Crawford, Jr., Moses Crawford (both of Tiptonville, TN); William Crawford (Lambert, MS), Houston Crawford (Anderson, IN); 76 Grandchildren; 127 Great-Grandchildren.

Mr. Matthew Crawford was also preceded in death by his wife: Gladys Keller Crawford; daughters: Ruthie Lee Owens, Anniebell Ceaser; brother: Jimmy Crawford; sisters: Catherine Emerson, Magnolia Crawford Williams, Mary Crawford, Inez Crawford.

Shirley Goodson passed away Jan. 10, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. at the age of 71 years.

She was born Dec. 4, 1941 in Pascola, Mo. to the late Raymond and Buler Peak Brewer.

Survivors include two sons, Danny (Karen) Goodson of New Madrid, Mo., and Albert Lynn (Janice) Brasfield of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Nicki Poore, Kayla Winkler and Albert Brasfield, III; three great-grandchildren, Cody Shelton, Kelsey Shelton and Chase Winkler; three sisters, Peggy, Virginia and Eileen; and one brother, Ray Brewer.

Visitation will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at Richards Funeral Home with the Rev. Travis Lambert officiating. Burial will be in Portageville Cemetery in Portageville, Mo.

Lyndell Leo Long, age 68, of Newbern, was born May 13, 1944; he lost his battle with cancer and departed this life January 7, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Long; parents, Ivan and Veta Long. He was a retired Truck Driver and a Farmer with Lineberry Farms in Finley, TN.

Mr. Long leaves his children, Crystal Long of Newbern, Tammy Long of Dyersburg, David Long of Finley, Steven Long of Finley; sister, Debbie Yates; brothers, Bobbie Long, Jeff Long; 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from the Evansville Baptist Church in Dyersburg, TN.

Randall J. Park, 57, of Somerville, died Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.

He was a retired employee for JTEKT North America and attended Shiloh United Methodist Church in Somerville.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. H.B. Fields officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

The family received visitors from 11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his parents, Curtis and Peggy Crouch Park of Somerville; two sisters, Deborah Willoughby (Dan), of Knoxville and Elizabeth Tweedy (Bob) of Bartlett; a niece, Rebecca Tweedy; and a nephew, Kevin Tweedy.

The family requests that memorials be directed to Second Baptist Church in Dyersburg or to Baptist Trinity Hospice in Memphis.

Richard Carlton "Pork Chop" Stover, II, age 33 of Obion, died Thursday, Jan. 10 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, Jan. 13 at the Minnick Bible Church. Rev. James Robert Gunter and Rev. Ralph Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Minnick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mr. Stover was born in Martin, TN, July 31, 1979, the son of Richard Carlton Stover of Obion and Barbara Daniel Montgomery of Pennsbro, WV. He was a member of the Laurel Baptist Church in Columbia, SC and an US Marine. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister Kristen Stover Alexander and husband David of Troy; two nieces, Tatum and Charlotte Rose Alexander of Troy; a grandmother, Freeda Stover of Obion; a great-grandmother, Bonnie Morris of Memphis and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Stover was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard Stover, and Robert and Ann Daniel.

Brenda Sue Arterbridge, 47, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Baptist Memorial East in Memphis.

Minnie Vee Lane, 80, of Ripley, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013.
