Legislative coffee at Lannom Center this Friday

The Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce will host the first Legislative Coffee of 2013 on Friday, Feb. 1. 

State Rep. Bill Sanderson will serve as the guest speaker. Sanderson will discuss workers' compensation reform and what is going on in the Legislature this session.

The Legislative Coffee will be led by Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce Governmental and Legislative Committee Vice Chair Bob Kirk.

A coffee and light breakfast by Java Cafe will begin at 7 a.m., with discussions scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. Those wishing to register may call 285-3433 or contact Wendy Brock at wbrock@dyerchamber.com

will sanderson prove to be a republican or a t-party member? it will soon be a choice he will have to make.

according to a recent story in the gazette, 80% of the students in the dyersburg school system are considered 'economically disadvantaged', this figure according to school superintendent neel durbin. dyersburg ought to be ashamed of such numbers!
