7-year-old struck by vehicle on Scott Road

Emergency responder and law enforcement vehicles line Scott Road in Dyer County after numerous agencies responded to an accident in which a 7-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a motor vehicle accident in which a 7-year-old girl had to be airlifted to Memphis.

The accident occurred on Scott Road in Dyer County, near the intersection of Welch Road, around 3:45 p.m. on Monday. A 7-year-old girl was reportedly struck by the driver of a pickup truck. THP Trooper Owen Grear worked the scene, but could not give many details about the accident since it involved a minor and was still under investigation. The driver of the vehicle reportedly called Dyer County dispatch to report the accident and first responders, Dyer County Sheriff's deputies, the Dyer County Rescue Squad, and THP troopers made the scene. An Air-Evac Lifeteam helicopter was called in to transport the victim to Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. The victim's injuries and her condition are not known at this time. The incident continues to be investigated by the THP.

Chief...what are you talking about??? Do YOU even know? Cause what you said makes zero sense bud! Anyway, I just wanna say how sad this is for everyone involved. I'm sure it was an accident and I'm sorry for the driver and especially the little girl. I will be praying for her as should everyone else. May God be with you little angel.
