Martha Jean Anderson, 70, of Lenox, was called home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her home in Lenox.
She was born and raised in RoEllen along with her identical twin, Joan, whom she dearly loved.
She was a member of Finley Baptist Church where she utilized her gift of working with children in the nursery. One of her greatest joys in life was attending church and reading her Bible daily.
She was a retired employee of Dyer County Health Department, where she worked for 26 years. Her favorite job was being a wife, mother and grandma "on call" helping to take care of her family. She also loved worshiping with all of her church family. Her favorite verse was Jude 1:2 "Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied".
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Charlie Halliburton officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Anderson Stafford of Finley; a son, Keith Anderson and wife, Tammy, of Lenox; her twin sister, Joan Mills Lanier of RoEllen; a brother, Tom Mills and wife, Donna, of Brawley, CA; five grandchildren, Jaclyn Stafford, Kaylee Anderson, Katelyn Anderson, Kade Anderson and Mary Jean Stafford; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends whom she dearly loved. She also leaves behind a special friend in Christ who helped care for her the past few months, Lawanda Vaughn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Anderson; and her parents, Joe and Virginia Hendrix Mills.
Pallbearers will be Bob Bodron, Jim Bodron, David Haddock, Brad Studard, Eddie Wilbanks and Steve Sartin. Honorary pallbearers will be Bud Wallace, George Larry Wallace, Ann Starnes, Sissy Kirk, Causton Johnson, David Johnson, Kurt Walker and the men of Finley Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Finley Baptist Church or a favorite charity in her honor.
Richard Eugene Cole, age 84, of Dyersburg, Tennessee went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.
He was a retired Electrician from the maintenance department at Dyersburg State Community College where he worked for 25 years. Before that he worked for 25 years for Dyer Electric Motor Service of Dyersburg.
He attended Springhill Baptist Church with his wife of 63 years Angel Johnston Cole.
Services will be at 3 P.M. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. James Branscum officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30 p. m - 8 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Angel Johnston Cole of Dyersburg; one daughter, Camille Welborn of Antioch Tennessee; one son, Tony E. Cole of Dyersburg; three grandchildren, Jessica Elizabeth Cole of Sandy Utah, Sarah Welborn and Michael Welborn, both of Antioch; a cousin, James Harold Powell of Ridgley, Tennessee and wife Anne Mae.
He was preceded in death by his parents, P.H. and Opal Cole.

Glenda Joan Tirey Godwin, 73, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at her residence.
She was a conservator for Comcare and a member of Springhill Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Crews officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

Joseph (Joe Baby) Gueary III age 56 of Memphis, formerly of Dyersburg, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.
He is a US Army and Air Force veteran.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Cosmopolitan Funeral Services chapel 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. Words of comfort will follow by Rev. W.L. McCadeny. Burial will follow in the M.C.C.O. cemetery, Newbern, TN.

Elsie Sue Jennings, 80, of Dyersburg, TN died February 14, 2013 at the Jackson-Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN
She was a homemaker and a member of the Miston Baptist Church in Miston, TN.
Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by her parents, O.C. and Mary Elizabeth (Pierce) Clark, husband, Billy Joe Jennings, daughter, Sharon Jo (Shea) Wilson, grandchild, Covey Hollandsworth and four brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Joe Jennings (Paige) of Dyersburg, TN and Roger Clark(Virginia) of Miston, TN; daughter, Marty Kay Harris (Jeff) of Ridgely, TN; sister, Shawanne Cook (Billy Joe) of Ridgely, TN; grandchildren: Steven Clark (Brandy), Wendy Clark Gentry (Levi), Kansas Harris Eddelman, Denver Harris, Graham Jennings and Mary Grace Jennings, great grandchildren, Dylan Clark, Luke Clark, Quade Gentry, Jake Gentry, Presley Shea Eddelman, Lilly Hollandworth and Mady Hollandworth.

Edward Mims age 85 of Newbern, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Dyersburg Manor.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
