Lake County Drug Strike Team arrests 3 on drug charges in Ridgely

Three suspects were taken into custody after the Lake County Sheriff's Office Drug Strike Team executed a search warrant at a home in Ridgely, Tenn.

On Monday, May, 20, around 9:30 p.m., the strike team executed a warrant at 300 Mile Lane in Ridgely. The warrant was the result of an undercover drug investigation related to drugs being sold from the Ridgely home.

During the execution of the warrant, officers located Anthony Fryerson, 48; Shepley Fryerson, 45; and Jamar Mays, 27, who reside at the residence, to be in possession of nine ounces of marijuana, eight high-capacity firearm magazines, 100 rounds of mixed ammo, a 12-gauge shotgun, a bulletproof vest, and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities note there were scales and packaging supplies located in the residence commonly used in the distribution and sale of marijuana.

Deputies confirmed that Anthony Fryerson was a convicted felon for previous felony drug convictions and is also a registered sex offender.

During the search, investigators seized $3,403 in cash, which they say was connected to the sale and distribution of narcotics during the investigation.

The trio was taken into custody at the scene and charged with possession of schedule VI (marijuana) with intent to sell or deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Anthony Fryerson was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

All subjects are being held in the Lake County Jail pending an appearance in Lake County General Sessions Court on Thursday, May 23, at 9 a.m.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Tiptonville Police Department and Ridgely Police Department in the execution of the search warrant.
