Robert Lawrence "Airdale" Hanley, 68 of Fulton, Kentucky, formerly of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Union City, Tennessee.

Born Wednesday, October 18, 1944 in Halls, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Hanley and the late Ruth Frances Dickey Hanley. Mr. Hanley was a retired truck driver.

Graveside services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Yorkville Cemetery. Officiating this service will be Rev. George Butler.

He is survived by two daughters, Miranda Choate of Fulton, Kentucky and Darcy Hooper of South Fulton, Tennessee; one son, Robert L. Hanley, Jr. and his wife Stacie of Newbern, Tennessee; one step-son whom he raised, Christian Morris of Jackson, Tennessee and five grandchildren, Amber Hanley, Larry Hanley, Toni Madding, Gabrielle Madding and Oceana Winstead.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald L. "Red" Hanley.

Steve Wright, 95 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Monday, June 17, 2013 at The Highlands in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Friday, August 10, 1917 in Rives, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James A. Wright and the late Ida B. Pruitt Wright. He was a retired employee of Forked Deer Hardware where he worked for twelve years and Robert-Gibson, Inc. where he worked for thirty years. Mr. Wright joined the Dyersburg First United Methodist Church in October, 1940 and remained a member there until January 1, 2010 when he transferred his membership to the Newbern First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be11:00 AM, Thursday, June 20, 2013 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. George Butler and Rev. Lea Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home in Newbern, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Griffin Wright of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Stephen Andrew "Andy" Wright of Dyersburg, Tennessee; two step-daughters, Cynthia Gibbons and her husband Billy of Newbern, Tennessee and Sharon West of Newbern, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Lesli Kaplan of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Libby King, Jackie Binkley and Melissa Nale all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; five great-grandchildren, Austin King, David King, Andi Beth Bell, Mason Nale, Jack Nale and Joe Henry Nale.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita M. Wright; one son, William Lee Wright, one daughter, Ellen W. Kaplan,one brother, W. J. Wright and two sisters, Vivian Wright and Fairy Wright and a daughter-in-law, Deborah Wright.

Pallbearers will be George Robertson, Tim Pope, Brian Nale, David King, Olen Parker and R. C. Owen. Honorary pallbearers will be Sonny Sykes, Larry King and Larry Gibson.

Charles Virgil "Chuck" Gaskins, 61, of Newbern, died Tuesday at Oakwood Community Living Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
