Lewis Charles (CL) Clark, 78, of Ridgely, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.

He was a retired farmer in Ridgely.

Funeral services will be Monday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. at Ridgely Chapel located at 552 Bishop St. with the Rev. Tom Sanders Jr. officiating. Burial will be at New Haven Cemetery in Ridgely.

The family will receive visitors Monday at 9-10 a.m. at the church.

He leaves his wife Gladys Clark of Ridgely; five daughters, Jean Elizalde, Annie Clark, Linda Clark, all of Ridgely, Angela Harper of Gary, Ind., and Frances Clark of Chicago Heights, Ill.; four sons, L.T. Clark of Chicago Heights, Ill., Anthony Thomas of Beloit, Wis., Dexter Davis of National City, Calif., and Lewis Charles Hancock of California; six sisters, Margaret (Roy) Pearson, Jessie Mae Avery, Cora (John Roberts) Avery, Mary Easley, Linda (Don) Moore, and Jo Willie Martin; four brothers, T.H. Avery, John L. Avery, James Lewis (Lethia) Robinson and J.W. Easley; 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Jackson; a son, Bobby Clark; and brothers Roger Avery and Willie Sam Avery.

H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Green Berry "G. B." Holder, 80 of Newbern, Tennessee died on Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Born Saturday, January 7, 1933 in Bochita, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late James Troy Holder and the late Lillian Georgia Bruner Holder McEuen. He was a retired maintenance foreman for Shell Oil Company, United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War, member of Center United Methodist Church and former Fire Chief of the Tatumville Fire Department.

Funeral services for Mr. Holder will be at 3:00 on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Tilly officiating. Interment will follow in Center Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM until service time at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife of fifty six years, Wanda Louise Noblet Holder of Newbern, Tennessee; a son, Troy Ray Holder & Wife Michele of Newbern, Tennessee; a daughter, Teresa Lynn Holder of Newbern, Tennessee; two sisters, Opal Jones of Flora, Illinois and Betty Holder of Brownsville, Texas; four grandchildren, Jeremy Holder, Josh Roberts and wife Melody, Chelsea Holder and Rachel Holder all of Newbern, Tennessee and two great-grandchildren, Thomas Holder and Kayla Holder both of Newbern, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Neal Holder and a brother, Don Holder.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Weatherly, Jimmy Bailey, Tim Carter, John Lucas, Joey Murray, Crannie Webb, Kyle Patterson and Pete Carpenter. Honorary pallbearers will be Moe Sims, Sam Bopp, Gene Sykes, Billy King and Mike Bohannon.
