State. Sen. Lowe Finney will host a town hall forum to meet with constituents from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, at McIver's Grant Public Library in Dyersburg.

"There are so many critical issues before state leaders this year, and I hope we can find ways to make health insurance and college more affordable for working families," said Finney. "To represent you the best I can, I need you to come tell me what to do, and more often I need you to come tell me what not to do."

Finney will be on hand to answer any questions people have about state government and the upcoming session of the General Assembly in Nashville.

Lowe Finney is the state senator for Senate District 27, which encompasses Crockett, Dyer, Lake, Lauderdale and Madison counties. The public is encouraged to attend the town hall forum that will include local leaders, plus Rep. Craig Fitzhugh.
